Something is enchanting about Christmas movies that makes us re-watch them year after year. Think about it: You never have that list of summer movies you need to watch and re-watch before your beach days are over, but once you pull the holly out of the closet, the Christmas movie series begins. And, for some reason, a lot of the very best picks tend to be from Walt Disney. It could be because the holiday makes us want to gather our families around the television, so we’re looking for all-ages appropriate movies. After you’ve finished a marathon of all of our favorite Disney movies about Christmas, be sure to explore all the Christmas films analyzed on Betway. Here’s our list of 5 Walt Disney Movies That Will Count You Down to Christmas!

Frozen (2013)

When it comes to Frozen, it cannot be too appropriate for Disney Christmas movies. Went into general theatrical release on November 27, 2013, Frozen is destined to be a blockbuster in holiday season and maybe all through your lifetime, thanks to its great animation and musical technology, grossing over $1.2 billion in worldwide box office revenue and winning two Academy Awards for Best Animated Feature and Best Original Song (Let It Go).

The Santa Clause (1994)

The Santa Clause, starring Tim Allen, was released back in 1994 and was an instant hit thanks to Tim’s success in Home Improvement. The movie follows Scott Calvin (Tim Allen) as he unexpectedly makes the transition from a regular, divorcee dad to the next Santa Claus, weight gain and all. The problem, of course, is keeping his new identity a secret from his family. This movie has aged pretty well in my opinion, and remains a heart-warming, Christmas classic that every generation can enjoy.

A Charlie Brown Christmas (1965)

Not everyone is in a holly, jolly mood come Christmastime. If the holidays make you feel a little melancholy, you’re in good company with Charlie Brown, who goes on a deep journey to discover the true meaning of Christmas. The soundtrack, by composer Vince Guaraldi, is also a must-listen come this time of year.

Mickey’s Christmas Carol (1983)

If you want to keep things Disney-themed, you can’t go wrong with this awesome ’80s adaptation of Charles Dickens ‘ A Christmas Carol, featuring Scrooge McDuck fulfilling his true purpose – as Ebenezer Scrooge! The rest of the tale is filled with the likes of Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Jiminy Cricket, and more. A traditional triumph.

Big Hero 6 (2014)

Another must-see Disney movie on Xmas is the 2014 sensational Big Hero 6, which tells us a story about a special bond, deriving from plus-sized inflatable robot Baymax, and genius Hiro Hamada, who accompany with batch of friends to form a band of high-tech heroes. This 2014 big hit from Disney sets the world on fire, with $185,611,522 box office in USA and wins 8.3 high ratings on IMDb.
