The cryptic tweet hints at Breaking Bad movie coming “Soon” than anticipated
It couldn’t be serendipity, Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul, simultaneously post a vaguely mysterious tweet and Instagram post around the time when rumours of Breaking Bad movie is hot. The posts’ captions read “soon” with the image of two donkeys. DRUG MULES, perhaps? The cryptic posts alone were enough to send the Breaking Bad fans into a frenzy.

It is Anna Gunn who has a different take on it. During an interview on The One Show, Breaking Bad star Anna Gunn (Skyler) said: “I believe it is a nod to a mezcal tequila that they are bringing out, the two of them, called Dos Hombres. Bryan was going to have a launch party on Cinco de Mayo last month and he promised that there were would be donkeys there. I got very excited about that and said I’d bring my kids and then it didn’t happen.”
Netflix has first-run rights to the movie
Deadline reported in February that Netflix had picked up first-run rights to the movie. At the Sun Valley Film Festival, Aaron Paul didn’t confirm whether he was involved in the upcoming movie sequel, which will air first on Netflix and then AMC, as Variety reported in February, but did indicate that he was open to reprising his role as Jesse Pinkman. It was ‘Hollywood Reporter’ who confirmed that Aaron Paul will reprise his three times Emmy winning role of Jesse Pinkman.

What Breaking Bad Movie would be about?
If we believe the rumours, production on the film reportedly took place in Albuquerque, New Mexico from last November to February. Series creator, writer, and director – Vince Gilligan is orchestrating the entire project.
The movie would take it forward from the last episode, Felina, of Breaking Bad. In the final episode (Season 6, Episode 15) of Breaking Bad, Jesse flees in the car from Jack’s hideout and Walt collapses from his wound inside the Quonset hut lab. Sources told Hollywood Reporter that Gilligan would direct the film, which would follow the escape of a kidnapped man and his quest for freedom.
Breaking Bad Movie Casting
The whole thing is being kept tightly under wraps at the moment. The fate of Heisenberg aka Walter White is uncertain. “Yes, there appears to be a movie version of Breaking Bad,” Bryan Cranston said on The Dan Patrick Show, “but I honestly have not even read the script. So there’s a question if we would even see Walter White in this movie.”
“It’s a great story and there are a lot of people who felt that they wanted to see some kind of completion to some of these storylines that were left open,” he said. “This idea, from what I’m told, gets into those — at least a couple of the character show were not completed, as far as their journey.”
The official cast of Breaking Bad movie is not out yet except that RJ Mitte has confirmed that he’s not involved with the upcoming Breaking Bad movie. No information on the project has been leaked in Hollywood so far. For the fans of Breaking Bad, the vague bad-ass post would suffice until the official announcement.
