Will there be a ‘The Terminal List’ Season 2?: At the end of the day, the consumer is king. All networks bow down to how the viewers react to a certain series in the television world. Irrespective of how much hate The Terminal List got from critics who could not get past its derivative and formulaic treatment of the familiar subject matter, audiences showered love on the Chris Pratt-led show.

Season 1 aired back in July of last year on Prime Video. The platform has many similarly paced thriller shows, among which Jack Ryan truly takes the cake. The eight-episode-long maiden season introduced the character of James Reece and his ruthless team of elite forces. The storytelling format was such that the pace was brisk and without too many hiccups. Even-handed family drama also adds flavor to the plot.

We have news for you regarding a potential season 2. In this piece, we discuss the latest from the network regarding the show and whether or not The Terminal List on Prime Video has been renewed for season 2.

What happened in Season 1 of The Terminal List?

Reece James is confronted with the dark truth about his debacle of a covert mission that has left him completely wrecked. Reece led the mission Odin’s Sword, and his squad, Alpha Platoon Team 7, were compromised whilst on the mission. His entire team was wiped out during the bloodbath, and he was the only surviving soldier. He suffers personal tragedy after coming back when his wife and child are brutally killed whilst there is an attempt on his life.

He teams up with Ben and Katie, the only two people he can rely upon, to find out about what happened on the mission and take revenge on those who uprooted his life. Reece’s memories about what happened are blurry but gradually comes back as the season progresses.

Has The Terminal List been renewed for season 2?

Yes, the show was renewed from Prime Video just a day back. Deadline has confirmed that the show will continue for at least another couple of seasons. Pratt had earlier titillated the fans with the following comment about the show’s future. “To the rabid fans of The Terminal List out there, you have nothing to worry about,” he said. “We love you and appreciate your support. It’s our life’s mission to make sure you can come back to the well. We are working away.”

It seems the wishes of all the fans have come true. Amazon Studios’ Head of Television Vernon Sanders had indicated that the show would get exciting news back in December as well. “I think that we are cooking up something that, when we’re ready to announce, Terminal List fans will be very excited about. It may be something even more interesting than what you just stated, so hold tight”.

Additionally, a prequel for the character of Ben Edward, played by Taylor Kitsch, has also been picked up by Prime, although details on that are scarce right now. It is a developing story.

What do we know about Season 2 of The Terminal List?

Not too much. One can rely on how season 1 ended and Carr’s other novels set in the same literary universe. But beyond that, no more details are known till now. We ended the first season in some style as Reece finally came to peace with the death of his wife and daughter. He throws the list into the water, but it does not seem like the story is over. We can expect another season to take a year from now to finish everything. If everything remains well, we might have season 2 in 2024!
