How to Watch Consecration?: The notion that organizations hold untold secrets has become a staple of sorts in Hollywood thrillers for decades. From classic political dramas like “All the President’s Men” to more recent releases like “The Ides of March,” the concept has been done in numerous different ways.

IFC’s latest horror film, “Consecration,” delves into the frightening world of a mysterious religious cult. The movie tries to trace the aftermath of a horrific death as one of them tries to expose the dangerous beliefs that the cult has instilled in everyone.

Tension builds as the film peels back the layers of the organization, revealing a web of deceit and danger. With a story that blurs the line between faith and fear, “Consecration” uses slow burn to put the audience in the sense of fear and dread. For genre fans seeking some thrills that make them go on the edge of their seats, “Consecration” instantly climbs up the ladder of anticipation.
