How to Watch ‘Righteous Thieves’?: We all are suckers for heist films, and we know it. It’s a fancy genre with a mixture of all the good things you can throw in a film – action, comedy, thriller, mystery, fantasy. And the latest addition to the genre promises the same.
Righteous Thieves is a comedy thriller directed by Anthony Nordilillo and written by Nordilillo and Michael Corcoran. The film follows a crew of art thieves assembled to create and execute the perfect heist.
The film starts with Annabel, leader of a secret organization, assembling a ragtag crew to recover precious art pieces stolen by Nazis during WWII. The art pieces by Van Gogh, Picasso, Monet, and Degas are now in possession of a Neo-Nazi Billionaire Oligarch, Otto Huizen. The crew consists of Annabel as the leader, Eddie, Lucille as the hacker, Nadia as the safe-cracker, and Bruno as the muscle. As the crew goes ahead with its plan, they realize the true intentions of Annabel behind this heist, and the adrenaline rush of the film takes off.
The film has a 60% audience score on Rotten Tomatoes. As the film tries to pull a heist on our hearts, one can expect an experience full of action, comedy, and thrill. The audience can expect loyalties to be tested, betrayals, and a few surprises here and there, along with a story portrayed by a strong cast. A good reference for art fanatics is also thrown in the film as it slightly touches the reality of those paintings actually being stolen since World War II.

The movie stars Lisa Vidal as Annabel, Brian Cousins as Otto, Carlos Miranda as Eddie, Jaina Lee Ortiz as Lucille, Sasha Merci as Nadia, and Cam Gigandet as Bruno. A very diverse cast is what the film boasts.
Also co-starring Melissa Marty, Katee Shean, and Mitch Poulos, among others.

Yes! Righteous Thieves is currently available to watch in movie theatres. Lionsgate released the film in select theatres across the US on March 10th, 2023. You can check your local theater listings to find a screening near you on Fandango.

You can Buy/Rent Righteous Thieves on various VOD services like Amazon, VUDU, and Itunes. Regarding subscription-based streaming, there’s no info about when and where it will be available. However, one can assume that Lionsgate will favor releasing it on their own streaming platform Lionsgate Play.
