Shotgun Wedding follows the misadventures at a couple’s destination wedding ceremony when they have second thoughts right at the altar. Simultaneously, their island wedding is hijacked by a group of mercenaries. The film has it all that makes for a lighthearted fun-filled viewing. Shrinking is an upcoming comedy series premiering on Apple TV+. The show follows a therapist, Jimmy, who starts spiraling out of control while he is unable to deal with the grief of his wife’s demise. But he finds a breakthrough in telling his patients what he really thinks of their situation. Subsequently, he suggests solutions rather than enforcing them, bringing out significant changes in his and their lives.




The series stars Jason Segel as the protagonist. Segel is also the co-creator of the show and Harrison Ford co-stars as his colleague who fears his inability to deal with his grief and recent professional changes bordering on the unethical are going to take backfire on both of them. The trailer shows easy chemistry among the cast and an exciting premise. Those in the mood for some comedy can tune in to Apple TV+ on 27th January to watch the first two episodes. The film promises to be laugh-out-loud good. It features an ensemble cast and stars Jonah Hil, who also co-wrote the film and Lauren London in the leading roles of Ezra and Amira. The film details the misadventures of Ezra and Amira getting married as the two sets of families meet, resulting in hilarious and exasperating events of cultural clashes. Eddie Murphy and Julia Louis-Dreyfus play Amira’s father and Ezra’s mother, respectively. The two cannot be more different; a black Muslim man and a white Jewish woman spar continuously and are set to prove whose community had it worse. Frozen Planet II

It’s a region on Earth that is inhospitable and with extreme climatic conditions. The documentary series pays attention to the threats to the inhabitants and the highly adverse effects of climate change that is devastatingly affecting this frozen part of the planet, which is speedily melting.




The series explores the life and habitat of animals in frozen regions like King Penguins, Arctic Fox, Antarctic Blue Whale, Siberian Tigers, and Polar Bears. The documentary series explores extreme parts of the earth and surreal landscapes of various glaciers that are facing threats due to the climate crisis. Princess Power is an upcoming animated series on Netflix that seems cute, colorful, and entertaining and is based on books by Savannah Guthrie and Allison Oppenheim titled ‘Princesses Wear Pants.’ The series tells the story of four princesses, Kira Kiwi, Beatrice Blueberry, Rita Raspberry, and Penelope Pineapple.




The Princesses belong to four different fruit kingdoms or fruitdoms and they join together to make the world a better place. Rita Moreno, Tan France, Jenna Ushkowitz, Ciera Payton, and Andrew Rannells, among others, have given their voices to various characters in the series, celebrating girl power, self-expression, and kindness. The series was a wildly popular and critical success. However, it failed to impress Pamela Anderson, who was not on board with this fictional retelling of one of the most turbulent times in her life. Pamela, A Love Story, is a documentary series that is her attempt to take control of the narrative. Directed by Emmy-nominated Ryan White, the film focuses on vintage footage and exclusive interviews with Pamela Anderson, giving an insight into the woman and her life beyond the sex siren image and infamy. The documentary film begins streaming on 31st January 2023.




Detective Conan: The Culprit Hanzawa

Those who love anime can rejoice, for a spin-off of Detective Conan, Japan’s longest-running anime franchise, is coming to Netflix this February. Detective Conan: The Culprit Hanzawa has already premiered in Japan and will be available for global audiences as it starts streaming. The official synopsis on Netflix reads, “A dark shadow falls upon Beika Town, a place renowned for its high level of criminal cases. His (or her) purpose is to kill a certain man… Yes, the person indispensable to “Detective Conan” is now the protagonist!
