Stede goes to see his wife and kids to find peace, and in the last few minutes of the season, he sets out on a dinghy boat to save the Revenge crew that got stuck.
On the other hand, Ed is very sad when Stede leaves, so he fully embraces his scary image and becomes the “Kraken.” He is now in charge of the Revenge ship and its crew, which includes Frenchie and Jim.
