In Film Finds, I explore some of my favorite oddball films in the hopes I can convince you to take the time to check them out! In the video below, I explore Alejandro Jodorowsky’s Santa Sangre, a 1989 surrealist ‘horror’ that really defies all boundaries of genre. The tale of a man who grew up as a magician in a circus, child of an adulteress knife thrower and a cultist trapeze artist, Santa Sangre is a mesmerizing and bizarre work. Full of narrative twists and stellar visuals, this is one film you won’t want to miss.
