
Screenwriter and director, Adam McKay is back behind the camera for his upcoming biographical comedy-drama film “Vice”, following his critically acclaimed and Oscar winner for Best Adapted Screenplay “The Big Short.” The biopic chronicles Dick Cheney’s rise to the vice president under President George W. Bush, from his beginnings as a Washington bureaucrat to one of the most influential men in politics.
Originally titled “Backseat,”, Vice will hit the theatre in the US on the Christmas Day, this year.
Vice stars Christian Bale as Dick Cheney, Amy Adams as Lynne Cheney, Steve Carell as Donald Rumsfeld, Bill Pullman as Nelson Rockefeller, and Sam Rockwell as George W. Bush.
