It is confirmed that the living legend Meryl Streep will now join the cast of Only Murders in the Building, Season 3 at Hulu. Series star Selena Gomez made a quick announcement in an Instagram video post today. However, details about Streep’s role still need to be discovered, whether she will perform a guest appearance or join the cast regularly.
The three-time Oscar and Golden Globe-winning actress will share the screen of the hit murder mystery/podcast satire series with Steve Martin, Martin Short, and Selena Gomez. The video shared by Gomez in an Instagram post on Tuesday along with her co-actors shows Gomez getting excited about Streep joining the cast. She exclaims, “Could this honestly get any better?” to reveal the surprise cast of the hit show.

Besides, the award-winning actress Paul Rudd, who made a guest appearance in Season 2 as the broadway star Ben Glenroy, will also be on board in the upcoming season. As far as Meryl Streep’s entry in Hulu’s murder mystery series or TV Shows, in general, is concerned, before this, the audiences have also seen Meryl in HBO’s Big Little Lies season two as Mary Louise, playing the role of a grieving mother-in-law to Nicole Kidman.
