No Hard Feelings Soundtrack โ€“ Every Song Featured In The Movie: No Hard Feelings is the slyest romantic comedy in Hollywood. Maddie, portrayed by Jennifer Lawrence, finds herself in a peculiar situation where Percy’s parents enlist her to engage in some unconventional “dating” with the 19-year-old lad. Their aim? To ensure he doesn’t venture off to college as an inexperienced introvert. And that’s where the hilarity ensues!

The film follows Maddie Barker, a Montauk local facing challenges as she tries to maintain her livelihood by working as an Uber driver and bartending on the side. As the summer season in the picturesque tourist destination unfolds, Maddie’s life takes a turn for the worse when her possessions, including her car, are confiscated due to overdue property taxes on her inherited house.

Maddie, who came into this world from a brief summer fling and was left behind by her well-off vacationing dad, holds a strong grudge against those wealthy folks who swoop in and snatch up properties in Montauk, causing prices to skyrocket and locals to get displaced. In a stroke of luck, she stumbles upon this Craigslist ad that’s offering a sweet deal: a Buick Regal in exchange for some good old “companionship” with a 19-year-old Rich Kid who needs a little socializing before jetting off to Princeton.

Maddie’s buddies Sarah and Jim, the movie’s most entertaining characters, are all like, “Hey, let’s give ’em a taste of their own medicine and make the most out of this situation.โ€ Then the film shows all kinds of awkwardness that comes with this uncommon relationship.

Rotten Tomatoes, the popular review aggregator site, shows that 67% of 164 critics’ reviews are in favor of the film, with an average rating of 6/10. According to the general opinion on the website, “No Hard Feelings” sometimes opts for a tamer approach in its humor. However, thanks to Jennifer Lawrence’s remarkable talent in both comedy and drama, the final outcome is still a delightful experience.
