A Shop for Killers Episode 6 Recap:

The episode begins with a flashback. Many years ago, Jin-man, Bale, and Seong-jo were working together. They were mercenaries working for Babylon. Everyone has reached the base camp except Bale and Seong-jo in one mission. Therefore, Jin-man goes looking for them when he hears gunfire. He reaches the room to realize Bale is killing civilians. Jin-man reaches out to Yonghan and tells him he does not want to work with Bale in any more operations. In the court, Jin-man and Seong-jo take Bale’s side. It is pretty clear now that Seong-jo is in team Bale. Yonghan promises Jin-man that after one more mission with Bale, he will ensure he won’t send them on a mission together.

On the day of the mission, Jin-man, as the Captain of the group, asks Bale not to kill anyone unarmed or any civilians. He will get the man in question and must take care of the rest. Bale tells Jin-man that he knew he wanted him dead on the day of the court hearing. Jin-man ignores him, and Bale agrees to Jin-man’s conditions. However, when he is faced with two unarmed people, he does whatever he wants.

He unarms himself, gives the men a knife, and attacks them. Seong-jo finds a room, and inside are four women. Bale throws a grenade inside and kills them all. Jin-man hears the noise, gets up there, and confronts Bale. However, things get out of control, and Jin-man’s and Bale’s supporters pull out their guns. Jin-man decides to take the high road and tells Bale he will report him to the company.

He asks the men to blast the place and leave. Jin-man, in another room, finds a woman and helps her up. Turns out the woman is none other than Min-hye. He and the group get ready to leave after placing the dynamites. Jin-man asks Pasin to keep an eye on Bale as he will stay back and finish some work. Jin-man gets inside and runs out with Min-hye but is stopped by Bale. In fact, Bale knew something was fishy and had stayed back.

Jin-man asks Min-hye to run away as he faces Bale on his own. They get into a knife fight, and Jin-man is in a lock where he can’t escape. Nevertheless, Min-hye comes to his rescue and shoots Bale. Jin-man attacks him with a knife. Bale warns him that if Jin-man does not kill him, he will come back and kill everyone he loves. Hearing this, Jin-man gets infuriated and stabs him harder.

A Shop for Killers Episode 6 Ending Explained:

How did Bale and Jin-man’s rivalry begin?

Min-hye and Jin-man exit the building and watch the building go out in flames. Jin-man answers the questions the company has regarding Bale’s death. He lies, makes up a story, and tells Yonghan that he needs some time off and leaves. The group burns Bale’s belongings and bids farewell to him. Yonghan, however, asks someone to tail Jin-man. Jin-man visits his mother, brother, and family. He is introduced to Ji-an for the first time. In the epilogue, we see Seong-jo practicing sniping in between the mountains. He hears footsteps behind him and pulls out his pistol, realizing it is Bale. Bale still has the scars from the fight with Jin-man.

In the last episode, we need to understand who Bale is and why the rivalry between Jin-man and Bale began. However, we don’t know how Bale survived. Either Yonghan or the twins must have stayed back to save Bale. It was also interesting to see how Jin-man met Min-hye. It will get interesting going forward, as defeating Bale won’t be easy. Bale now has an army of people supporting him. Can Ji-an do what Jin-man couldn’t?
