It seems like a face has been finalized to play the next Bond character. Reportedly, actor Aaron Taylor-Johnson has been offered the role of James Bond.
The actor is prominently known for his performance in films like Kick-Ass and Bullet Train. According to some sources, it has been reported that the actor will be playing the role of 007 in the Bond reboot film. As per a report by the British newspaper The Sun, after the departure of Daniel Craig as Bond, Taylor-Johnson will now be the face of the British secret agent. The production of the film is aimed to begin as soon as later this year.
According to the sources, “Bond is Aaron’s job, should he wish to accept it. The formal offer is on the table, and they are waiting to hear back. As far as Eon is concerned, Aaron is going to sign his contract in the coming days, and they can start preparing for the big announcement.”

Allegedly, Eon Productions has offered the role to Taylor-Johnson and is awaiting the actor to sign a contract imminently, with a “big announcement” planned. Since no official word has been given by the makers yet, the final news regarding the new face of the Bond franchise remains under the realm of speculation.
Talking about Taylor-Johnson, the actor has an impressive resume with his name attached to films like Kick-Ass, the MCU’s Avengers: Age of Ultron, action movies such as Tenet, The King’s Man, and Bullet Train, as well as Anna Karenina, Godzilla, and Nocturnal Animals.
Considering his wide-ranging career, the actor has proven his versatility by performing varied genre roles, be it dramatic or action-oriented. If Taylor-Johnson is the final name for the James Bond character, he can be trusted with that, as he is indeed a potential fit for 007.

Apart from his rumored involvement in yet to be yet-to-be-made Bond film, Taylor Johnson is set to appear in the upcoming Marvel/Sony outing Kraven the Hunter. The film is based on the Marvel supervillain of the same name, Kraven the Hunter. It chronicles the story of how and why one of Marvel’s most iconic villains came to be. The synopsis of the film reads:
“Russian immigrant Sergei Kravinoff is on a mission to prove that he is the greatest hunter in the world.”
Kraven the Hunter is scheduled to be released on August 30, 2024.
