Medea Tchelidze
Medea Tchelidze is a Georgian filmmaker whose work bridges Georgia and South Korea through visually driven storytelling. With an academic background in International Relations focused on East Asia and advanced proficiency in Korean, she brings a cross-cultural sensitivity to her cinematic voice. After training at the Georgian-American Film Academy, she directed her debut short film in Tbilisi featuring Korean actors and language. Her recent short film, “In A Week”, positions the Tbilisi city itself as an emotional presence, blending music, visual rhythm, and urban intimacy. The film was featured by South Korea’s Ministry of Culture-affiliated platform Honorary Reporters Korea.
