In the first picture, Batman is seen being chased by his enemy Inque; the following picture depicts him walking in a rainy alley, and the third has him standing beneath a giant version of his chest emblem and the bright buildings of Neo-Gotham while the word also appears below-said emblem.

Just as the post sets the stage for discussion, the caption beneath the post gives some clarity. The caption reads,

“5 months ago, we walked into @wbpictures @DCofficial and pitched a 𝘉𝘢𝘵𝘮𝘢𝘯 𝘉𝘦𝘺𝘰𝘯𝘥 Animated Feature. Before we pitched, they warned us, “There is absolutely no way we can do a 𝘉𝘦𝘺𝘰𝘯𝘥 movie,” but they loved our enthusiasm. We pitched the outline for the entire film, and what started as a ‘never’ turned into a ‘maybe.’ In the time since, we’ve been pitching our way up the company hoping to get to @jamesgunn. But for now, here’s a taste of what we’ve been cooking.”

With an optimism to execute their idea in the near future, they concluded the caption by urging their followers to “LIKE & SHARE 𝗶𝗳 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘄𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝘀𝗲𝗲 𝗮 𝘉𝘢𝘵𝘮𝘢𝘯 𝘉𝘦𝘺𝘰𝘯𝘥 𝗔𝗻𝗶𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗙𝗲𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀 🦇 #𝗯𝗮𝘁𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗯𝗲𝘆𝗼𝗻𝗱”
