Back in 2023, ahead of the release of The Last of Us Season 2, actor Bella Ramsey shared her thoughts on what she hoped to see in the second season of the critically acclaimed HBO series. Ramsey stars as Ellie, a sharp-witted, foul-mouthed 14-year-old orphan who carries a rare immunity to the deadly fungal infection ravaging the world. Alongside Joel Miller (Pedro Pascal), a grizzled black market smuggler, Ellie embarks on a dangerous journey across a post-apocalyptic United States, forming an unbreakable bond with him along the way.
Speaking with L’Officiel at the time, Ramsey expressed excitement for the adaptation of The Last of Us Part II and revealed her hopes for the direction of her character in Season 2. While she was open to anything, she mentioned her desire for more action and fighting, as the show would delve into the more physically demanding aspects of the video game’s narrative.
