Has Edgerunners Update Finally Fixed Cyberpunk 2077?

It’s no secret that Cyberpunk 2077 has faced one of the worst game releases of all time. It led the majority of fans to think that the game was basically dead or bound to die sooner. And while it was true for quite a long, Cyberpunk 2077 has actually managed to fight the odds. And now with the latest Edgerunners update, the game is finally getting the attention it deserves.

It got me curious as to what changes have actually been made to make the game so popular once again. And I am sure many of you would be wondering the exact same thing. So, here is a full list of all the major changes that came with the Edgerunners update.

Wardrobe Additions

You can change the appearance of your outfit without the need of changing your armor stats and it also allows you to create up to six different outfits by using the pieces of clothing you own by accessing the wardrobe in any of V’s apartments or safehouses and you can switch between the outfits in the inventory panel.

New Weapons

Patch 1.6 update has bought 6 new iconic firearms such as Hyper critical Iconic precision Rifle which is obtainable in gig: concrete cage trap. the other five are Senkoh LX (tech submachine gun) VST-37 (power shotgun) MA70 HB (power light machine gun) and the last, Kyubi (power Assault Rifle).

And to mention it also brings Five new melee weapons including. Neurotoxin knife plus iconic blue fang. Punknife (plus a cool variant headhunter). Claw (Axe). Razor(Machete). Cut-O-Matic (chainsword).

New Gigs

The update has also introduced three new gigs to the game that players partake in:

Concrete cage trap: A SOS mission in Watson that enables the players to obtain the new hypercritical iconic precision Rifle
Desperate Measures: A Santo Domingo gig centered around the theft
Nasty Hangover: A santo Domingo gig centered around search and recovery.

Cross-Progression Feature

The biggest change in Patch 1.6 is the addition of Cross Progression Feature between platforms. so if you are on multiple platforms your saves will be automatically uploaded to the cloud and you can easily continue where you left off on other platforms. it also grants quick save, auto-save, and manual saves.

The feature will be available after you log into your account from the main menu or load the game Menu. However, Cross progression may have some limitations on regional console versions with restrictions that will affect Saudi Arabia, UAE, Bahrain, Qatar, Kuwait, Oman, and Japanese console versions. Console Specific

A brand new performance mode for the Xbox Series S just select it as a graphics mode in the video section of the settings menu it aims for 60 frames per second at 900p resolution with dynamic resolution scaling that ranges from 800p to 1080p depending on the section of the game.

The patch also introduced a new racing mini-game in the Arcade machine located in the Night city and the one’s in the Northside, Japantown and the glen apartments reach the leaderboard and you can earn prizes including cash and items. Nibbles In photo mode

You can now take pictures of Nibbles in photo mode. The option will be available when you invite Nibbles to V’s apartment. In the photo, the mode goes to the pose and chooses Nibbles in the character section.

Cyberpunk: Edgerunners Content

Now the fact that this is a heavily inspired cyberpunk (Edgerunners) update and we are going to get some new things such as the new jacket which is actually from cyberpunk Edgerunners and some secrets related to its anime series to be discovered in the night City and including new equipment and items.
