Anne Nikitin, known for her work in films like Lost Girls, Mother’s Instinct, and American Animals, composed the original music for the soundtrack of the movie Little Wing, which features actors Brooklynn Prince, Kelly Reilly, and Brian Cox. Directed by Dean Israelite, the film is about a young girl dealing with family issues and getting involved in pigeon racing.
Nikitin mentioned she worked with post-punk artist Paris Hurley, who added vocals to reflect the main character’s emotions. She also used unique sounds for the pigeons in the movie, blending synthesizers and her own voice for the lighter moments and a solo violin for the more serious ones.
