On the occasion of the 113th anniversary of Krishnaji Prabhakar Khadilkar’s acclaimed play, “Sangeet Manapmaan,” actor Subodh Bhave has announced the release date of his upcoming film, which pays homage to the legendary writer. The film, titled “Sangeet Manapmaan,” is set to hit screens on November 1, 2024.

In a post on his Instagram handle, Subodh Bhave unveiled the title poster of the film, expressing reverence for Khadilkar’s enduring contribution to Marathi theater. He highlighted the significance of “Sangeet Manapmaan,” emphasizing its timeless appeal to fans.

Directed by Subodh Bhave, the film is a musical adaptation of Khadilkar’s iconic play, promising to transport audiences to a bygone era much like Bhave’s previous directorial venture, “Katyar Kaljat Ghusali.” This project marks Bhave’s second directorial effort, as he seeks to delve into new creative territories with each film.

“Sangeet Manapmaan” is produced by Jio Studios and features music composed by the renowned trio Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy, marking their second collaboration with Subodh Bhave. The film aims to capture the essence of Khadilkar’s masterpiece, offering audiences a cinematic experience that celebrates the rich cultural heritage of Marathi theater.
