She implied her signature style of hyper-feminine and impromptu elements which led to some incredible designs that did not just upheld the traditions but also included a touch of innovation. Some of the notable designs inspired by Gaultier’s work included conical bras and sailor hats, which were well-received by fashion critics. They praised Rocha for maintaining moderation in design while being a little excessive as well.
This was Rocha’s debut at the haute couture collection in Paris and her designs were so good that the moment her outfit pieces came into light, it became the chief topic of conversation among fashion critics. The opportunity to be a guest couturier for Jean Paul Gaultier served as a pinnacle for Rocha’s design career. Ever since, she has been hyped and hailed for her mesmerizing collaboration with him.
