Teach You a Lesson is an upcoming South Korean action drama that brings the popular webtoon Get Schooled (참교육) to the screen. Adapted from the webtoon written by Chae Yong Taek and illustrated by Han Ga Ram, the 10-episode series is directed by Hong Jong Chan and written by Lee Nam Gyu, Kim Da Hee, and Moon Jong Ho.

Starring Kim Mu-yeol, Lee Sung-min, Jin Ki-joo, and Pyo Ji-hoon, the drama combines action, thriller, comedy, and school-life elements. The story follows Na Hwa-jin, an agent from the Educational Rights Protection Agency (ERPA), a government organization created to deal with rising school violence and disciplinary problems.

Given special authority to take unconventional action against delinquent students and corrupt officials, Hwa-jin is sent to schools where traditional methods have failed. Teach You a Lesson is set to premiere globally on Netflix on June 5, 2026.

What is the show about?

As violence in schools increases and teachers struggle to maintain authority, the South Korean government creates the Educational Rights Protection Agency (ERPA). The agency is given special powers to deal with troublesome students and help restore order in schools.

Na Hwa-jin, an ERPA supervisor, is sent to different schools to investigate bullying, student gangs, and corruption within the education system. Working alongside investigator Im Han-rim, he uses the agency’s broad authority to take on powerful troublemakers and protect students and teachers while bringing discipline back to the classroom.

‘Teach You a Lesson’ Complete Cast:

The cast of Teach You a Lesson is led by Kim Mu-yeol as Na Hwa-jin, a special agent working for the Educational Rights Protection Agency (ERPA). Tasked with tackling violence and corruption in schools, Hwa-jin serves as the drama’s central figure.

Lee Sung-min plays Choi Gang-seok, the Minister of Education and the founder of ERPA. As the architect behind the agency, he plays a key role in shaping its mission and influence.

Jin Ki-joo stars as Im Han-rim, a former special forces officer who now works as an inspector for ERPA. She partners with Hwa-jin on investigations and brings her military experience to the agency’s operations.

Pyo Ji-hoon portrays Bong Geun-dae, the assistant director of ERPA and a graduate of KAIST. His intelligence and technical expertise make him an important member of the team.

Rounding out the main cast is Ha Young as Choi Ga-yoon, Gang-seok’s daughter and Hwa-jin’s fiancée, adding a personal dimension to the story’s larger conflicts.
