Netflix has revealed the streaming release date, along with a fresh trailer and poster, for their upcoming French shark thriller, Under Paris. The film is directed by Xavier Gens (Mayhem!) and written by Yannick Dahang and Maud Heywang. The cast includes Oscar-nominee Bérénice Bejo (The Artist), Nassim Lyes, Léa Léviant, Anaïs Parello, Iñaki Lartigue, and Julien Jakout.
What is Under the Paris about?
In the Summer of 2024, Paris hosts its inaugural World Triathlon Championships on the Seine. Sophia, a scientist, discovers from Mika, an environmental activist, that a large shark lurks in the river’s depths. To prevent chaos in the city center, they must collaborate with Adil, the commander of the Seine river police.
