The James Bond film franchise is one of the most popular to hit movie screens and has grossed over $7bn to date. The last outing for 007 was in 2021, when ‘No Time To Die’ acted as Daniel Craig’s swansong. Although the hunt for a new actor to play the title role is still ongoing, it seems like fans might not have to wait much longer for the next instalment.
This is because Amazon recently purchased the franchise for $1bn and reports suggest they’re keen to create a new 007 film. This has led to a working title of ‘Bond 26’ being leaked to the press with a tentative release date of 2027.
So, what classic 007 scenes might we expect to see in this new Bond film?
Casino scenes
There’s no doubt that casinos have played a core part in pop culture over time. One of the real staples of the whole 007 franchise is the jet setting nature of Bond and the exotic locations his investigations take him to. Some of the most iconic scenes in James Bond history have been those set in exotic locations and show how important where the action happens is.
This is easy to see when we look at the countries our favorite secret agent has visited over time, from Jamaica to the Bahamas, Egypt, Venice and Corfu. Using such exotic destinations helps give the films a glamorous feel and keeps audiences engaged. It also gives Bond himself an air of luxury and allows viewers to see other parts of the world.

Bond 26: What can fans expect?
In truth, the finer details around the latest Bond movie are thin on the ground right now. We have footage of Henry Cavill’s 2006 Bond screen test but are no nearer to finding out if he or someone else will be in the starring role.
There’s no confirmed title either and no news on who might be playing the main villain or what the storyline is. Despite this, fans will be confident of the main staples of the franchise coming back and scenes in the new film being based on classics from previous ones.
