One must be surely living in a den if they don’t know about the Oscar-winning actor Ben Affleck. Apart from entertaining the audience with his incredible acting skills, Affleck has contributed to the cinematic world with his impeccable directorial vision. His directing credits include award-winning movies such as Air and Argo. And now Ben Affleck, the actor-director, is once again all set to helm the camera for the upcoming Netflix film “Animals.” While many details about the film are still under wraps, some information has surfaced that may delight and surprise fans.
Who is involved in Ben Affleck’s upcoming Netflix project?
Apart from directing the film, Ben Affleck will also be producing it with frequent collaborator and close friend Matt Damon. Looking at their previous collaborations, including the acclaimed Good Will Hunting, the expectations for their next project automatically become high.
Along with being a co-producer of the project, Damon will also star in “Animals.” The actor most recently appeared in the Oscar-nominated film Oppenheimer as well as Air and The Last Duel. Based on Connor McIntyre’s script with revisions made by Billy Ray, the film is speculated to feature Affleck’s ex-wife, Jennifer Garner. It has been reported that she would be playing a significant role in Affleck’s film, starring opposite Damon.
This isn’t the first time Garner and Affleck have worked together on a film. The two have previously starred in films including Pearl Harbor (2001), Daredevil (2003), and Elektra (2005). However, if she takes the role in “Animals,” this will be the first time she will be directed by Affleck. Their supposed collaboration in the upcoming film raises questions about the nature of Garner and Affleck’s professional relationship post-divorce. The former couple, who share three kids, separated in 2018. Since then, they have maintained a cordial co-parenting relationship.
