Although no such news has been confirmed yet, Gosling is more than willing to showcase his singing talent to the audience.

He has not only charmed the audience with his romantic films like “Notebook” and” La La Land,” but he even proved his versatility by opting for varied genre films like “Drive.” Gosling is undoubtedly one of the best actors in Hollywood. However, what most people don’t know is that he is also a great singer.
Recently, the actor appeared in Greta Gerwig‘s blockbuster hit film “Barbie,” starring alongside Margot Robbie. Gosling not only graced the big screen with his performance as Ken, but he also sang “I’m Just Ken,” which was also nominated at the Oscars for best original song.
As per Variety, the actor will sing the Academy Award-nominated song from “Barbie” during the 96th annual ceremony on March 10. Although no such news has been confirmed by the Academy yet. However, if the opportunity comes, Gosling is all game to show off his singing chops at the Oscars. Earlier, during an interview with Variety, Gosling shared that the Academy hadn’t yet asked him to perform. He said, “It might be too much of a risk to have me do it. I don’t know how that would work. But I’m open to it.”
It’s not just Gosling who is excited to perform at the Oscars. The co-writer of the song, Mark Ronson, also shared his excitement for Gosling’s performance at the event. He told Variety at the Grammys that it was his dream for Gosling to perform at the Academy Awards. When Ranson was asked if he’d possibly sub in another singer in case Gosling isn’t interested in performing “I’m Just Ken” live during the Oscars, Ronson said, “No. I think if Ryan doesn’t do it, then we’re not doing it.”
If Gosling happens to perform at the Oscars, it will indeed be an incredible moment for all. The Academy Awards will air on ABC on March 10, starting at 4 p.m. PT. Jimmy Kimmel returns as host.
