Lola Kirke is all set with her new project, which is a supernatural story directed by Ryan Coogler. According to Deadline, Kirke will be joining Michael B. Jordan and Hailee Steinfeld in this upcoming project. This film will reunite Coogler with Jordan, as the director-actor duo has previously worked together on the first Creed story and the Black Panther franchise. Apart from Jordan and Steinfeld, the cast of the untitled film will also include Jack O’Connell and Wunmi Mosaku. So far, only the cast details have been out. The rest of the details regarding the film’s premise are being tightly kept under wraps by the studio.

Though the details of the upcoming supernatural thriller are scarce so far, Coogler’s involvement is enough to generate the hype. Coogler is an acclaimed filmmaker whose notable directorial credits include Black Panther and Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. The director is known for frequently collaborating with actor Michael B. Jordan, who appeared in all four feature films directed by Coogler. Considering their collaborations and the magic they bring on-screen together, something good can be expected from their upcoming project.ย

Lola Kirke is a British-American actress and singer-songwriter. Her recent acting credits include HBO’s Winning Time: The Rise of the Lakers Dynasty (2022), where she portrayed the role of Karen Bua West. The sports drama goes back in time to show what it was like for the iconic basketball team to live through its prime in a dramatization of true events. However, she is prominently known for her role as Hailey Rutledge, one of the main characters from the television comedy Mozart in the Jungle. It is anย  American comedy-drama television series developed by Roman Coppola, Jason Schwartzman, Alex Timbers, and Paul Weitz for the video-on-demand service Amazon Prime Video. Throughout four seasons, the actress portrayed a charming oboist whose dream was to perform with the New York Symphony.ย 

Apart from Kirke, the series featured Gael Garcรญa Bernal, Bernadette Peters, and Hannah Dunne. The series was eventually canceled after entertaining viewers for four years. Apart from her television roles, she also gained prominence from her appearance in films like Gone Girl. The film follows the story of Nick Dunne (Ben Affleck) is wrongly accused of hurting his wife, Amy (Rosamund Pike), after she fakes her disappearance. In the film, Kirke stepped into the shoes of a character who was trapped in an abusive relationship in her past.ย 

As for her role in the upcoming Coogler film, details haven’t been disclosed at the moment. Apart from this untitled supernatural thriller, Kirke will be seen in the upcoming Starz limited series Three Women.
