Mysterious deaths of important people prompt Jules to investigate as she uncovers the secrets surrounding Silo’s past. This makes her question those in power and the reason for what they are doing. Can she solve the truth behind the deaths and discover why Holston (the old Sheriff) and others died? The show exposes the real motives of Silo’s privileged few and follows Jules’ quest for the truth.

Has Silo Been Renewed for Season 2?

Apple TV+ has renewed Silo for Season 2. The official confirmation came today. The studio is convinced with the direction that the show is heading in and “excited” with the growing viewer count as the season has progressed. This is perfectly in sync with what the fans and critics were expecting to happen after such a positive reception.

In a statement from Matt Cherniss, head of programming for Apple TV+, Silo was called the “number one show on the platform” right now. He had the following to say on the eve of confirming the renewal.

“It has been enormously fulfilling to see the engrossing, atmospheric, and beautifully crafted sci-fi epic ‘Silo’ quickly become Apple’s number one drama series. As audiences around the world have become gripped by the mysteries and conspiracies buried within this fascinating subterranean world, viewership only continues to climb, and we are so excited for more secrets of the silo to be revealed in season two.”

Graham Yost, who is the showrunner, expressed his gratitude to Apple TV+ and also his excitement at another opportunity to tell his story. “We cannot wait for audiences around the world to immerse themselves in the epic world we have created to bring Hugh Howey’s novels to life,” said Yost. “Apple has believed in our vision from day one, and it’s an honor to have the opportunity to dig deeper into this story and peel back the layers of our characters in the Silo.”
