Universal Pictures’ horror thriller Abigail is set to make its streaming debut on Peacock later this month. Directed by Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett and written by Stephen Shields and Guy Busick, the film stars Alisha Weir as the titular character, alongside Melissa Barrera, Dan Stevens, Kathryn Newton, Will Catlett, Kevin Durand, Angus Cloud, and Giancarlo Esposito.

After a group of would-be criminals abduct the 12-year-old ballerina daughter of a powerful underworld figure, they believe securing the $50 million ransom will be a simple overnight task. However, as they settle into an isolated mansion, their numbers begin to dwindle one by one. After releasing in US theatres on April 19th and heading to VOD services on May 7th, Universal Pictures will finally release Abigail on Universal-owned streaming service Peacock on July 19th, 2024.
