After a successful run at the box office, thanks to its politically ‘right’ agenda, Article 370 finally has an OTT Release date. The Hindi-language political thriller, directed by Aditya Suhas Jambhale with a screenplay he co-wrote with Aditya Dhar, Arjun Dhawan, and Monal Thakkar, stars Yami Gautam, Priyamani, Skand Thakur, Ashwini Kaul, Vaibhav Tatwawadi, Arun Govil, and Kiran Karmarkar. Lauded by critics for Gautam’s performance, the film was also heavily criticized for its biased portrayal of facts, alleged favoritism towards the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party in light of the upcoming elections, and its failure to represent the viewpoints of Kashmiris.

Article 370 was released in theatres on 23 February 2024. The movie delves into the historical context of Article 370’s revocation through a cinematic lens. Yami Gautam plays Zooni Haksar, an intelligence officer grappling with personal tragedy, who becomes the focal point. She is tasked by Priyamani’s character, Rajeshwari Swaminathan, with a mission: to peacefully achieve the revocation of Article 370.

For those of you who missed watching the political thriller in theatres, the film will be making its OTT debut on April 19, 2024.
