‘Barry’ Season 4 New Trailer: HBO has just uploaded a new Barry Season 4 trailer that gives us a detailed look into Barry Berkman’s troubled state of mind as a prisoner. As rightly put by their team, it is ‘The beginning of the end’. With Bill Hader ready for his breakout role, the clip gives a peek into the terrifying consequences of his past actions.

The HBO series, created by Alec Berg and Bill Hader began in 2018 with wide critical acclaim. It also earned them a couple of Emmys including the Best Actor award for Bill’s incredible, transformative performance. It marked a significant shift from his early comedic career, which includes his much-loved work at NBC’s Saturday Night Live.

The show follows Barry Berkman, a hitman from the Midwest who moves to Los Angeles and unintentionally ends up in an acting class. It suddenly changes his life’s trajectory and gives him several work opportunities. The acting gives him an outlet to express his deepest and darkest emotions and confront his dark and violent past.

Barry regrets committing violent murders at the mercy of Monroe Funches. After returning from war, Funches hired him as a hitman and gave his life, what he considered to be, his purpose. However, his love for acting and for Sally makes him desire a righteous path. The previous season showed him getting much closer to his demons and finally leading to the ultimate consequence of his actions.

Starring Bill Hader, Sarah Goldberg, Anthony Carrigan, Henry Winkler, and Stephen Root in the lead roles, the new season of this dark comedy is creating a lot of buzz. The new trailer shows Barry trying to make amends while becoming increasingly insane day by day. It gives a look at how the show’s characters are trying to change the course of their lives for the better.

The fourth and final season of Barry premieres Sunday, April 16 on HBO Max.
