During Priyanka Chopra Jonas’ SXSW keynote conversation with Jennifer Salke, head of Amazon and MGM Studios, Prime Video unveiled an exclusive clip and new key art for the highly anticipated action-spy thriller, Citadel.
The clip features the series’ lead duo, Richard Madden and Priyanka Chopra Jonas, and closes out a lively discussion that touches on topics like the next generation of women in Hollywood, global content innovation, and Chopra Jonas’ leading role in the groundbreaking franchise.
Citadel’s first season comprises six high-stakes episodes, with two premiering on April 28, followed by weekly releases until May 26, exclusively on Prime Video. Executive produced by the Russo Brothers’ AGBO and showrunner David Weil, the series stars Richard Madden and Priyanka Chopra Jonas, alongside Stanley Tucci and Lesley Manville. Fans worldwide can look forward to watching Citadel in over 240 countries and territories.

The show takes place in the world of Citadel, eight years have passed since the downfall of the independent spy agency tasked with safeguarding global security. Manticore, a powerful and secretive syndicate, was responsible for its destruction. Elite agents Mason Kane (Richard Madden) and Nadia Sinh (Priyanka Chopra Jonas) narrowly escaped with their lives, but their memories were wiped clean as a result. Now living under new identities, they are unaware of their pasts until Mason is approached by his former Citadel colleague, Bernard Orlick (Stanley Tucci). Orlick desperately needs Mason’s help to prevent Manticore from establishing a new world order.
Mason reconnects with his former partner Nadia, and the two of them embark on a mission to stop Manticore, taking them on a globe-trotting adventure. But their journey is complicated by their relationship, built on secrets, lies, and an undying love that is as dangerous as it is intense. The star-studded cast also includes Lesley Manville as Dahlia Archer, Osy Ikhile as Carter Spence, Ashleigh Cummings as Abby Conroy, Roland Møller as Anders Silje and Davik Silje, and Caoilinn Springall as Hendrix Conroy, among others.
