He gets a call from Do-young and rushes to where he is. Do-young has captured the one running the house, and Dong-soo arrives at the scene. He is furious and starts hitting him and pushes him into a body of water. Dong-soo takes on the role of a leader and lets that man suffer in the water. He then asks Do-young’s men to bring him out of the water as he needs to know who has set the nursing home on fire. Dong-soo and Do-young talk about Chairman Moon and Jae-yeol’s relationship. Do-young asks Dong-soo why he got on Chairman Moon’s wrong side. He explains about Ji-eum and how she had asked for his help, and Dong-soo couldn’t look the other way. Do-young tells him that Jae-yeol’s men had killed her and the orders were from Chairman Moon. Dong-soo realizes it would be difficult to separate them as they know each other well, but Do-young thinks it’s for the best, and they can take them down together. Meanwhile, the police find Je-yi’s body.

One of the detectives investigating the case was Chul-jin. He wanted to meet Yuseong Gang’s leader but was informed that he had a stroke and was no longer the boss, and it seemed like Do-young was the boss now. Jae-yeol and Chairman Moon hear about finding Ji-ye’s body and decide to frame Do-young and Dong-soo for her murder. Jae-yeol tells Chairman Moon that the day Do-young was released from prison, Ji-ye and Yang-ho had gone missing, and Yang-ho was still missing. Chairman Yoon realized that these two had made money and gave it to Choong-ho. Chairman Moon asks Jae-yeol to arrange money, but he tells him the gambling house is not doing well. They send their men to take over Shinnam Ferry, and the trucks are parked in front of Moon Law Company with drugs in them. Chul-jin and the other cops arrive at the location but don’t find any footage from the CCTV as it was broken. Chairman Moon instructed Attorney Moon to ask Jae-yeol to cooperate with the police if he is called in, and he would make sure the search warrant is not issued. He also tells Attorney Moon that he would make Do-young and Dong-soo pay for choosing the wrong people to mess with.

Meanwhile, the reporters surround Jae-yeol, and he tells them that someone was trying to frame him and that the trucks were from the Shinnam ferry, but they were stolen, and he was going to find the culprits. Dong-soo brings Family Gang members to the police and informs them that they had come to turn themselves in for starting a fire at the nursing home. Jae-yeol is working with the cop working alongside Chul-jin. Jae-yeol wants to meet the senior cop, Mr. Kim, but he tells the cop that Jae-yeol is to be treated fairly, just like any other suspect. He also tells him that if someone is associated with Do-young, they are either dead or just a fool. Dong-soo leaves the room in anger. He meets Chul-jin outside, gives him evidence to put Jae-yeol behind bars, and tells him he has a tip. Dong-soo and Do-young meet, and Dong-soo informs him that Jae-yeol has admitted only to smuggling. He also suggests they keep an eye on what would happen to the rest of the drugs while Jae-yeol is away, and Do-young agrees. Do-young has bigger ambitions, and he wants to increase online business sales so he can buy Shinnam Ferry.

Do-young’s right-hand man asks Beom-jae and other programmers to increase the number of customers in the dummy room to double the sales. Meanwhile, Chul-jin’s boss plants a seed in his mind. He connects the dots between Do-young, Dong-soo, and Yang-ho. Oh Jae captures pictures of drugs from Shinnam Ferry being sold for half the price. Dong-soo tells Do-young that they can extend Jae-yeol’s prison sentence using this. Beom-jae is sad to see his friend being a withdrawn man.
