Hans Zimmer Embarks on Live Tour Featuring Scores from Dune, Interstellar, and More

He is currently being hailed for contributing to two of the biggest films at the box office, Dune: Part II and Kung Fu Panda 4. 

Apart from that, the German-born American film score composer is known for his notable works in films like Gladiator, The Last Samurai, the Pirates of the Caribbean series, The Dark Knight trilogy, Inception, Man of Steel, Interstellar, Dunkirk, No Time to Die and The Lion King (1994). For the latter, he won the Academy Award for Best Original Score. He also earned his second Oscar trophy in the category for the 2021 film Dune. And now, to treat everyone’s ears, he will be performing some of his most famous music on a world tour, Hans Zimmer Live, to North America this Fall. The tour will include arena dates across the United States and Canada, including a birthday show at the iconic Madison Square Garden.

With the support of his impressive 18-piece live band and a full orchestra, Hans Zimmer Live will commence in Duluth, GA, at the Gas South Arena on September 6 and will visit 17 cities across the U.S. and Canada, concluding at the Rogers Arena in Vancouver, BC on October 6.

Hans Zimmer is a renowned name in the film and music industry and is the recipient of top honors like Oscars and Grammy. In his upcoming tour, his band and the orchestra will perform a selection of the composer’s scores from some of cinema’s biggest films.
