The 2024 Telugu-language superhero film Hanu-Man is directed by Prasanth Varma and produced by Primeshow Entertainment. Teja Sajja stars in the title role, supported by Amritha Aiyer, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Samuthirakani, Vinay Rai, and Vennela Kishore. The story is set in the fictional village of Anjanadri and marks the first installment of the Prasanth Varma Cinematic Universe (PVCU). It follows the journey of Hanumanthu, who gains the power of Lord Hanuman to protect the people of Anjanadri and confronts Michael after encountering a mysterious gem. Unlike the reception of its trailer, Hanu-Man was lauded by critics and viewers alike, which makes its OTT release date much more anticipated.

Han-man was announced in May 2021 and commenced principal photography on 25 June 2021 in Hyderabad, wrapping up by mid-April 2023. The music is composed by GowraHari and Anudeep Dev, with cinematography by Dasaradhi Sivendra, visual effects supervised by Venkat Kumar Jetty, and editing by Sai Babu Talari.
The film opened in theatres across India on 12 January 2024, coinciding with Sankranti, receiving positive reviews from critics for Prashanth Varma’s direction, screenwriting, cast performances, visualization of Lord Hanuman, background score, VFX, production design, and action sequences. The film set numerous box-office records for a Telugu film, grossing over โน350 crores (US$44 million) and becoming the second-highest-grossing Indian film of 2024, the highest-grossing Telugu film of 2024, and the eighth-highest-grossing Telugu film worldwide. A sequel is currently in development.
Now, coming to it’s OTT Release-Date, the film was unleashed into the streaming world on March 16th, 2024, both in Hindi and Telegu languages. The Tamil and Kannada dubs are yet to have a release schedule, but stay tune for more updates on the same.
