When will she wake up to the fact that she does need to be morally skewed? The series maps out her realisation with accumulating stone-heartedness.

After all, she does need the money, come hell or high water. Even Roxanne, who had earlier feigned compassion and genuine understanding, starts blackmailing Babalwa, demanding money. Initially, there’s some baulking, but soon everyone jumps in the boat with her. The team goes about stealing a police car and ammo for their own.

Marked (TV Series 2025) Episode 6 Ending Explained:

Does Babalwa find the money for her daughter’s operation?

The final episode is steeped in cruel irony. The heist is indeed successful. The team is exultant at orchestrating it with no hiccups. But complications haven’t ended for the heroine. Right when she and Zweli are about to make away with the loot, Kat and Razor arrive on the spot. Of course, there’s a scuffle, leading to Razor being killed. Kat is let off with his cut. He will not make any mess further on.

He has figured out it’s Zweli who has fobbed the access codes. After all, he’s the one who recently went to his house. It wouldn’t take much inference to arrive at this simple conclusion.

As Zweli and Zekaraiah go at each other, Babalwa takes out a gun and shoots the latter dead. That’s it. The flip in her has happened. There’s no turning back now. Right then, Babalwa gets a message from her husband that the money has come in. Incidentally, Zekaraiah had been the one who donated the money. Nevertheless, Babalwa’s soul has already turned curdled. The series ends with her and Zweli burying Zekaraiah’s corpse.
