Shameik Moore talks about Spider Verse film: The Spider-Verse film series has been a significant success for Sony and Marvel. Both 2018’s “Into the Spider-Verse” and 2023’s “Across the Spider-Verse” have demonstrated the potential to keep Marvel films afloat. Both films were commercial hits, earning $384.3 million and $690.3 million, respectively, at the global box office.
Now, the film franchise is set to release the third installment: “Beyond the Spider-Verse.” The yet-to-be-released film will be the final film in the Spider-Verse trilogy. However, there are speculations that the makers of the Spider-Verse might make a fourth installment. Recently, at the “Madame Web” world premiere, ComicBook.com got a chance to interact with Spider-Verse movie actor Shameik Moore. He addressed the speculations previously raised by Producer Amy Pascal, who implied the possibility of a fourth film in the Spider-verse series. Moore seemed clueless about any such project as he said, “I don’t know. I think, you know, I don’t know.”
Will there be any fourth installment of Spider-Verse Movies?
During a recent Oscars luncheon for the 2024 Academy Awards nominees, Spider-Man franchise producer Amy Pascal told Variety that there are chances that fans get to witness Miles making his live-action Marvel debut “someday.” She said, “Not until we make two more movies… We’re very happy doing [the animated Spider-Verse movies].” Her statement fueled the rumors of the fourth installment of the film franchise. However, co-producer and co-writer for “Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse,” Christopher Miller, was quick enough to present a clarification on Pascal’s statement. He took to X (formerly Twitter) and shared, “To clarify, when she said “not until we make two more movies,” she meant “Beyond the Spider-Verse” and the live-action Tom Holland film.”
So, until now, there is no official news about the fourth installment of Spider-Verse films. But certain possibilities point out the development of Marvel Cinematic Universe’s live-action Spider-Man film. Last year in May, during the premiere of “Across the Spider-Verse,” Pascal confirmed that a live-action Spider-Man movie centered around Morales was in development.

All about the upcoming film: Beyond the Spider-Verse
Though Shameik Moore has no clue about the fourth film of the Spider-Verse franchise, he is sure about one thing, which is the upcoming film “Beyond the Spider-Verse.” When Moore was asked about the upcoming flick, he subtly replied, “I’ll be there.”
The SAG-AFTRA strikes have hampered many big projects, and “Beyond the Spider-Verse” is one such project affected by the strike. The film, which was supposed to be released this March, got delayed due to the strike. And all its makers got to say is, “film will be out when it’s ready.” However, the entire team involved in the film is putting in all their efforts to bring out the best results.
Not only Moore will reprise his role as Miles, but Hailee Steinfeld will also return to play Gwen Stacy, meanwhile, Joaquin Dos Santos, Kemp Powers and Justin K. Thompson co-direct the threequel.
“Across the Spider-Verse” is available for streaming on Amazon Prime Video and Apple TV+.
