“The Red Line” (original title “Sen Tai Sai Luang”, 2026) is a thriller that follows three women—Orn, Fai, and Wawwow—whose lives are upended after they are scammed through phishing links. Orn is consumed by shame, especially as she faces judgment from her husband and his family. Fai, who had hoped to clear her student loans, build a home for her family, and buy a condo for herself, sees her plans collapse overnight.
Wawwow’s anger runs deeper, as her grandmother—who spent a lifetime selling soy milk to save that money—becomes a victim of the scam. When the three women unexpectedly cross paths and realize they share the same fate, they turn to the police for help, only to be met with indifference. Left with no other choice, they take matters into their own hands, teaming up with their friend OJ. What follows is a determined mission to track down the scammers and reclaim what they lost.

The Red Line (2026) Plot Summary & Movie Synopsis:
The film opens with Orn getting a call from an unknown number claiming she had sent an illegal parcel. Even though Orn claims she is not connected to anything illegal, the caller pretends to be a cop asking for Orn’s account details. Out of fear, Orn gives her account details as well as her daughter Belle’s education fund account.
The minute Orn clicks on the link, she is scammed. Now, Orn lies to her husband that she lost half a million baht when it was 5 million baht. The same is told to the cops, who tell the couple that the chances of getting the money back are low. It’s been over a month, and Orn still has nightmares about the incident.
During a support group meeting, Orn listens to another woman, Fai, a physiotherapist, who says she was scammed, and it matched the exact way Orn was scammed, including the name of the pretend police officer. Later, Orn and Fai meet to talk about what had happened to them regarding the scam, later that day. While Belle’s practice session, Orn gets a notification of a live stream.
What do Orn, OJ, Fai, and Wawwow plan to do to get their money back?
A woman named Wawwow complains that her grandmother was scammed for 1 million baht. The next day, Orn and Fai visit Wawwow to understand what happened to Wawwow’s grandmother. Sadly, Wawwow’s grandmother still thinks she will get the money back. As they talk, Orn realises the scammer has sent Wawwow’s grandmother a message asking if she is okay.
The trio decides to engage with the scammer to learn who the scammers are. They now visit Wawwow’s techie friend OJ, who notices that the scammer’s SIM card is on the move. The SIM card shows a location in Poipet, Cambodia. In a flashback in Poipet, there is a group of people working together to scam people. The first are the people who make a call, who then transfer to a pretend junior officer, and finally, the main cop, Aood (real name). One day, Yuni trains a girl and sees a grandmother (Wawwow’s grandmother) getting scammed, and Yui is upset.
Later, Aood meets the boss to say he is leaving as his contract is up. In Aranyaprathet, cops search a house where they find many computers and networks. Just then, they were asked to stop the mission as it was a congressman’s house. Hearing this, Detective Mark is annoyed. Now, Aood is back in Bangkok with his wife and son.
In another flashback, we see that Yui was rescued by Wawwow’s grandmother when Yui was caught stealing while carrying an infant (Yui’s daughter). In Bangkok, Aood has created a scamming team of his own. Among them is Yui. Meanwhile, the women try to ask the cops for help, but they are of no help. Later, during Belle’s recital, Belle does not play the piano properly, hence Orn is blamed for not paying attention to Belle.
Now, Orn, Fai, OJ, and Wawwow decide to go after the scammers themselves. OJ suggests they buy some trackers and listening devices. They decide to message the scammer, saying they have gold, which may help in the investigation. In the Bangkok hideout, Yui gets a message from Wawwow’s grandmother that Aood sees.
How do Orn, OJ, Wawwow, and Fai infiltrate the scammers’ office?

So, Yui lies, saying she is trying to scam an old client again. To get the gold, they plan to meet in Fai’s hospital. At the hospital, Wawwow leaves the gold with her grandmother while everyone else watches. The gold box has a tracker and a listening device. However, Yui puts something in the bag and tries to run away.
Seeing this, the group approaches Yui, who also has her colleague, Mhee, with her. So, Fai uses her skills to hurt the colleague while Wawwow plants the device in Yui’s phone. They track the device, and Orn and Fai enter the building. There, they find Aood and Yui arguing. To evade suspicion, Yui says she has been reading reports on cops going undercover to catch scammers, which is why she couldn’t risk waiting for the client. At that time, Wawwow sends a message to the group that the scammer had left money in the cover and a note saying she will pay the grandmother back little by little.
Orn has an idea to set up an office in the same building to keep track of the scammers. They now have an idea of the scammers’ routine as well as how many people will be inside the room at any given point. Elsewhere, Officer Mark is doing his own detective work. In one of the case boxes, Officer Mark finds Aood, Wei, and Amy’s file.
Meanwhile, Wawwow suggests they sneak into the scammers’ office and get access to the computers. But, Orn says, they don’t have a Tom Cruise among them to do this job. The scammers run into a problem as one of the people they are trying to scam records Aood’s face and puts it up on the internet. Annoyed, Aood blames the group for their incompetence and takes away all their phones. The group now listens to Aood having sex with Amy, who is Wei’s (boss) partner. From their conversations, they learn Amy is managing the accounts, and that’s how Aood is getting the money.
What information does OJ find on the computers and Amy’s phone?
OJ has a friend (a little rabbit) who can transfer phone data, so Fai decides to go after Amy. From the motel, Aood and Amy leave, so little rabbit helps Fai follow them. Now, Amy gets into the subway. When Fai is struggling, little rabbit creates a distraction, helping Fai take Amy’s phone data. At the office, Wawwow decides to become Tom Cruise and rappels down the building and sneaks into the scammers’ office.
The IT guy, Mac, is the only one inside. When Wawwow is almost caught, OJ comes to her rescue, pretending to be a delivery person. As OJ keeps Mac busy, Wawwow transfers data from the computers. Unfortunately, the real delivery guy arrives, so OJ runs. At home, Aood gets a message from Amy saying they have a mole in their group. So, Aood runs to the office with a gun. In the office, Wawwow accidentally drops a pen, so Mac approaches the direction. By then, Orn arrives, helping Wawwow jump down the building.
Orn asks about the mistaken food delivery. Outside, Wawwow loses balance and falls to the ground. As Orn is talking, Aood arrives, and Mac, Aood, and Mhee surround Orn. Seeing a gun in Aood’s hand, Orn runs to the office. Now, Orn argues with Fai, saying she is so afraid and quits the mission. Meanwhile, Aood threatens his employees to come clean about who the mole is. The next morning, Wawwow wakes up bruised. Still, Wawwow visits the office to find it empty.
When Wawwow sees Orn’s message in the group that she quit, Wawwow is furious. At home, Orn is perceived as a fool by her husband for believing the scammers. That night, OJ sends all the information he gathered from the computers and Amy’s phone. It has information about Aood’s family, but they don’t have a lead on Aood’s personal account. At home, Aood gets a message from Wawwow’s grandmother on Yui’s phone. This angers Aood, who runs to the office.
How does the group trick Aood?
When Wawwow gets back home, she sees that her grandmother has consumed pills and has collapsed. The reason is that Aood sent a message saying Wawwow’s grandmother won’t be getting the money back. In the hospital, Fai is with Wawwow. They get a message from Orn asking to meet at the office. Meanwhile, Mark is chasing Wei.
The group has a plan to catch the scammers using their own tricks. However, they listen in on Aood hitting Yui. So, Fai rushes inside to save Yui. Now, they use a deep fake video of Aood’s wife to call Aood and say Ole (Aood’s son) is missing. So, Aood rushes to the school. Now, Wawwow decides to help Fai while the other two chase after Aood.
In the office, music starts to play on all the computers. Mac and others rush to Orn’s group’s office as they realise the network is connected there. Meanwhile, Fai helps Yui and tells her that Wawwow’s grandmother is in the ICU. As the duo escapes, Mhee arrives to attack the women. Just then, Wei arrives and shoots Mhee.

Wei asks Yui who is managing the accounts, so Yui says it’s Amy. Wei gives Yui money and says Yui needs to take over now. Meanwhile, the scammers destroy all the computers to get rid of evidence. After that, Wei targets Fai, who plays a recording of Amy revealing she is selling their user data to Aood. This does not calm Wei.
Just then, Mark arrives, so Fai uses her skills to bring Wei down on the ground. Elsewhere, Wawwow shuts off the power to the building. A gunfight breaks out, but Mark arrests Wei. Taking the opportunity, Fai runs away. At the hospital, Yui leaves the money she got from Wei with her grandmother. When Fai arrives, grandmother is declared dead. The cops are chasing Aood now. By now, Amy has transferred all the money to Aood’s account. Near the school, Aood gets a fake call from Ole’s teacher saying a Chinese man took Ole.
The Red Line (2026) Movie Ending Explained:
Is Aood dead?
The group calls Aood, asking him to transfer all the money to the link they have sent; otherwise, Ole will be hurt. They send a video of Ole, who is blindfolded. Unfortunately for the group, Aood hesitates. Just then, Mark knocks on Aood’s window, so Aood takes off. A car chase ensues. Since the signal is weak, Aood can hear the real people (Orn and OJ) talking.
Aood knows he almost got scammed. Once again, when they call Aood, Orn says money has already been drained out of Aood’s account. However, Aoo would need to confirm the suspension of the account, which he does not do as he is being chased. Obviously, Orn was bluffing to scare Aood. Amidst the car chase, Fai informs the others that Wawwow’s grandmother is dead. Hearing this, Orn gets angry and drops boxes towards Aood’s car. When that doesn’t stop Aood, Orn forcefully takes the steering wheel, bumping into Aood’s car, making it topple.
When Aood is in the ground, Orn confirms the suspension link, making the money transfer to their account. However, Aood is not dead. He gets up and is about to shoot Orn. Just then, Wawwow runs over Aood in her car. Soon, Mark’s car arrived, so they drove away. No one can reach Wawwow. At home, Orn tells her husband that the reason she succumbed to the scammers was because of him.
Orn’s husband’s company was not paying taxes. Orn asks her husband to be an equal part in caring for Belle, as it is not just her responsibility. Later, OJ tells the girls that Wawwow’s phone was in Poipet, and he is going after Wawwow. However, Fai had returned the money as she didn’t think it was in Aood’s account, as the scam was done when he was in Poipet. In the last scene, we see Wawwow with the scamming team in Poipet, Fai has decided to join OJ. After some deliberation, we see Orn has decided to help the trio in the mission.
From the final scene, it becomes clear that the scam network extends far beyond Aood, even as we know he is already dead. Since the operation traces back to Poipet, the group resolves to infiltrate the network and dismantle it at its roots, almost like undercover agents stepping into a system they barely understand.
When Orn says they have finally regained their lives, Fai pushes back, recognizing that they are no longer the same people. That shift is evident in Orn’s own guilt over using Ole in their scheme—something that sits uneasily with who she believes she is. Once ordinary, innocent individuals, they have crossed into illegality in pursuit of justice, largely because the system meant to protect them failed.
Mark’s solitary efforts hint at deeper fractures within law enforcement, suggesting corruption within the police and possible political interference—especially when he is prevented from searching a congressman’s house. The trio may not be able to dismantle every scam network operating globally, but their resolve is clear: they will go after the ones rooted in Poipet.
