Behind Your Touch (Season 1), Episode 15 Recap:

The episode continues from where it was left off, with Sun-woo fighting for his life and Ye-bun finding him dead. Sun-woo fights for his life, but just before he takes his last breath, he says something in Arabic. The police arrive and ask Ye-bun if she has seen the killer’s face, but she tells them she has not. Jang Yeol arrives and tries to talk to Ye-bun, but she slaps him and asks him what he will do now as Sun-woo is dead. Jung-muk and the others find Mr. Park in Sun-woo’s shed, covered in blood. They tell him the bad news that Sun-woo is over, and she cries. Detective Kang is interrogating Ye-bun, reminding her she was the only one who had contacted the killer twice. He asks her why she had sneaked into the interrogation room when Mr. Park was held in custody. She tells him that he had forgotten he had an alibi, and she had come to remind him of that. Jang Yeol enters the room and tells Detective Kang to ask him questions and not bother innocent people.

Detective Kang and Jang Yeol argue, and Jang Yeol punches at Detective Kang. They were dragged out of the room, and Jung-muk and Jang Yeol had to visit the chief to get disciplinary action. In frustration, Jang Yeol decides to resign and leaves the police station. The next day, the townspeople talk about Sun-woo, and Mr. Park is still inconsolable. He tells the people he would hold the funeral rites for him because he didn’t have a family. Ok-hui tries to cheer Ye-bun, but she refuses to eat or talk. Ok-hui tries to explain to her that Jang Yeol is not at fault and he has reasons to suspect Sun-woo. Hearing this, Ye-bun gets frustrated and asks her to get out of her sight. Jung-muk and the team wait for Jang Yeol outside his door, return his badge, and tell him they will help him find the killer even if their jobs are at stake. Townspeople visit Mr. Park to give whatever they can for the funeral rites.

Jang Yeol meets the forensic team to find evidence of the murder, but they don’t have the authority to unlock Sun-woo’s phone. Detective Kang finds him there, and Jang Yeol leaves before they get into another fight. Jang Yeol cracks the code for the blackout trick. He rushes to Ye-bun to tell her the news. He tells her that the killer was using sunglasses to create the illusion, which was why he would kill at night. He also tells her that her grandfather died because he turned the light on in Ju-man’s office, and the killer turned the light off before killing Mr. Jung. Ye-bun is still angry and tells him that they will never be able to catch the killer, and she hates having this power. She asks him to treat her like a stranger and not visit her anymore. She visits Mr. Park to give him the shoes she bought for Sun-woo’s funeral offering but finds Mr. Park in sunglasses. She immediately touches him and realizes he’s the killer. Mr. Park looks into her eyes, and his eyes sparkle, and she gets to know his power. He tells her that Sun-woo was very smart, that he had figured out about his power, and that he was the murderer.

Mr. Park promises not to kill her to apologize for killing her grandfather. Ok-hui keeps an eye on Ye-bun from Jang Yeol’s roof. Jang Yeol tries to talk to Ye-bun, and Mr. Park finds them and tells them that it seemed like they had an argument and leaves, but he keeps an eye on them from afar. Ye-bun asks Jang Yeol to leave her alone but sneakily hands him a piece of paper. Ye-bun cracks the code to the last words of Sun-woo, and it is the passcode to his phone. Jang Yeol unlocks it, and the next thing we know, Detective Kang is at Mr. Park’s door to arrest him. He plays a recording on Sun-woo’s phone, proving he was the murderer. During questioning, Mr. Park refuses to answer and asks to see Jang Yeol. Jang Yeol and Ye-bun sprinkle Sun-woo’s ashes in the ocean. Mr. Park tells Jang Yeol he didn’t have any motive to kill anyone, and he had also killed his wife. Deok-hee is unable to find Ok-hui. Ye-bun rushes to the room and touches Mr. Park, and through the vision, we see Mr. Park has hurt Ok-hui, and the only way to save her is to let him be free.

Behind Your Touch (Season 1), Episode 16 Recap:

The episode continues with Ye-bun seeing Mr. Park’s memories. Ye-bun holds a knife to Mr. Park’s throat, blackmailing the officers that if she is not set free with Mr. Park, he will kill him as it is necessary to save Ok-hui. She asks Jang Yeol to drive, pushes Mr. Park inside the car, and goes away. Mr. Park compliments them for being a great team and fantastic actors. Mr. Park was not ready to tell them where Ok-hui was. He plays mind games with them. He tells them that he needs to take care of his safety first before he reveals where Ok-hui is. At that moment, Mr. Baek and his men arrive and start hitting Jang Yeol. The men beat Jang Yeol to a pulp and lock Ye-bun in a warehouse.

She takes a metal pipe and hits the doctor. They are ready to leave, and Mr. Baek arrives and confirms her power. He tells his goons to do whatever they please with Jang Yeol, but they shouldn’t harm Ye-bun. Jang Yeol fights the goons and also ties Mr. Baek up. Meanwhile, Jung-muk and the team are looking for Ok-hui. Ye-bun calls them and informs them of the direction they need to look for Ok-hui. They realize they are in the opposite direction, and Jang Yeol promises to bring Mr. Park back. Detective Kang finds them and asks them about Jang Yeol and Ye-bun’s whereabouts, but before they can chase each other, Ok-hui’s gang (Da-eun and her friends) rescues the police. They take them to where Ye-bun had seen Ok-hui in Mr. Park’s memories.

When the group could not find Ok-hui, Yong-myeong tells Ye-bun that he would sometimes listen to the sounds to catch his students doing naughty things. Ye-bun tries hard to listen to the sounds she can hear. At first, she hears wind chimes, and they find a metal hitting a pole, and they walk in that direction. Ye-bun tells them to find something fluttering, and they see clothing fluttering over the scared tree. Ye-bun tells them that was the last sound she could hear.

Yong-myeong figures out that there must be an underground silo and finds Ok-hui. He rescues her, and everyone is happy. Meanwhile, Jang Yeol asks Mr. Baek to tell the man on his ship to inform Mr. Baek as soon as Mr. Park climbs the boat. Mr. Park arrives, and everything goes as planned, but Mr. Park has seen Mr. Baek visiting the ship the previous day, and he escapes. Jang Yeol and Ye-bun realize that he must have figured out their plan. Ye-bun touches a lady on the street and finds Mr. Park. They chase him in that direction but can’t go any further. Mr. Park had seen the stranger’s memories and hid in one of their houses. Meanwhile, Jang Yeol and Ye-bun see some kids and ask them to play a game so she can find Mr. Park.

The plan works but Mr. Park sees them approaching the house; he took a knife and exited it. They chase him down, but he attacks one stranger, and as Ye-bun touches him, Mr. Park leaves her a message. He asks them not to follow him, and if they do, he will kill the next person he saw. They continue the chase but see someone lying on the floor, and Jang Yeol leaves to find the paramedics. It turns out that it was Mr. Park in disguise. He holds a knife to her neck and drags her to the boat. Jang Yeol finds them and plays mind games with Mr. Park. He tells him that he didn’t know about his power, and Ye-bun takes the chance to escape, and he is handcuffed. Mr. Park means that it would be easier to kill in prison; he would use his power to become friends with the jailers. Ye-bun pokes his eyes and starts biting him. She tells him she would visit him every week and drive his eyes.

Behind Your Touch (Season 1 Finale) Episode 16 Ending Explained:

Who is Mujin’s serial killer?

Jung-muk asks Hyun-ok to marry him. Jang Yeol is leaving for Seoul but misses his bus to meet Ye-bun before he goes. We cut to a few months later when Ye-bun was a superstar talking about her powers on television. Yong-myeong and Ok-hui had started dating. Ye-bun sees the police station in Seoul, puts on neon lipstick, and meets Jang Yeol. They go out to grab a bite, and Jang Yeol seems distracted with work. She asks if she can help him if he gives her his attention.

Jang Yeol tells her that he doesn’t want to put her in danger, and it seems like he would go to her for work and doesn’t want to use her. She tells him that they are more than that. She nags him, and he gives in. She tells her she needs to wear a uniform, and she agrees, but she doesn’t know she is going to be put in prison. During a football match, Ye-bun touches the butt of the prisoner and finds out the information needed. That prisoner was going to attack her, but Jang Yeol saves her. They run out of the prison to go out on a date.

At the end of the season, we see the three prominent couples get together, but of course, we don’t see much of the good parts of it. Mr. Park is imprisoned, and Mr. Baek’s story is left out. Given the hype during the start of the season and the end, we just know that Jang Yeol caught him, but we are unsure if he was in prison paying the price for his crimes. The show had everything: mystery, humor, romance, and a group of lovable townspeople.
