Glory (2026, TV Series) ‘Netflix’ Recap:

What is ‘Glory’ on Netflix about?

The story is set in Shaktigarh, a fictional town in Haryana that is known as the boxing capital of India. Families from different places come here with hope. They bring their children, dreaming that proper training will help them reach the Olympics one day. One of the most respected coaching centers in the town is the Haryana Boxing Club, also called HBC. It is run by Raghubir Singh, who is known as “Coach Sir.” He once won a silver medal at the 1986 Asian Games, and since then, his only dream has been to bring home an Olympic gold medal. He trains his students with strict discipline and complete focus. His best student is Nihal Singh, who has recently qualified for the Olympics. Raghubir is sure that Nihal will win gold and make him proud. But just after his qualifying victory, Nihal is brutally murdered. At first, it seems like a case of rivalry, but the truth turns out to be much more complicated.

Why does Bharti run a trafficking network?

Bharti, who appears to be a simple and quiet woman, is revealed to be a killer in the second-to-last episode. She is married to Inspector Arvind, which gives her a strong cover. Earlier, it was shown that Bharti works as an “agent” who brings young girls from her village in Jharkhand to Haryana for marriage. But this is only part of the truth. In reality, she runs a human trafficking network in Shaktigarh. Bharti shares her past with Ravi, Raghubir’s younger son. She tells him that she was sold as a bride for twenty thousand rupees. Her parents gave her away, and she was forced to marry Arvind, whose first wife had left him. Arvind’s inability to have children had become a topic of gossip, so his family arranged this marriage. Bharti’s story sounds painful, and Ravi believes her. But instead of breaking the cycle, Bharti becomes part of it. She sees an opportunity in the demand for brides and starts bringing girls from poor families who are ready to sell them for money. Many of these girls are trapped in unhappy marriages, and those who are not married are sold into brothels. Bharti feels proud of the control she has gained through this business.

Why does Ravi stop his boxing career?

Bharti also grows close to Ravi. He falls deeply in love with her and trusts her completely. She tells him about her work, but she presents it as something good, as if she is helping girls find better lives. Ravi never questions her. Bharti is responsible for the death of Gudiya, who is Ravi and Dev’s sister. Gudiya had found out about Bharti’s activities. She had helped a girl named Nishi, who escaped from a brothel and asked for help. Gudiya gave her shelter, and through Nishi, she learned the truth about Bharti’s network. This made her a threat. Bharti decided that Gudiya had to be removed. However, Bharti did not act alone. The biggest shock comes when it is revealed that Raghubir Singh himself was involved in the plan to kill his own daughter. His reason is deeply disturbing. From childhood, Raghubir was taught that nothing matters more than glory. His father pushed him hard, and even though he won a silver medal, it was never enough. He wanted gold, and when he could not achieve it himself, he placed that dream on his sons.

Glory (2026, TV Series) 'Netflix' Recap & Ending Explained: Does Dev kill Raghubir in the end?
A still from Glory (2026, TV Series) streaming on Netflix.

Raghubir was harsh with his children. His elder son Dev suffered a serious leg injury during training and had to get his leg amputated. Ravi, who was very talented, gave up boxing after accidentally killing an opponent in the ring. After both sons stepped away, Raghubir lost hope, until Nihal came into his life. He trained Nihal for eight years and saw him as his final chance to achieve glory. But then Gudiya and Nihal fell in love. When Gudiya became pregnant, Nihal wanted to leave everything behind and start a life with her. He was even ready to give up the Olympics. For Raghubir, this was unacceptable. He saw Gudiya as someone who was standing between him and his dream. Instead of understanding her, he chose to remove her.

Why does Raghubir kill Gudiya?

Gudiya trusted her father and told him about Nishi, hoping he would help. But Raghubir used this information to connect with Bharti. Both of them had their own reasons to get rid of Gudiya, so they worked together. They hired killers to attack her. The plan was only to kill Gudiya, but things went wrong. Nihal was also attacked and killed, which was never part of the plan. Raghubir believed that after Gudiya’s death, Nihal would mourn for a while and then continue with his Olympic journey. He thought the blame would fall on others, like the Khap panchayat or local criminals, and the truth would never come out. But Dev did not give up. He kept searching for answers and eventually uncovered the truth.

Even after everything, Raghubir shows no regret. When Dev confronts him, he does not even refer to Gudiya as his daughter. He calls her “the girl.” He blames her for her own death and says she should not have come between him and his dream. Dev is shocked by this. He realizes that his father cares only about fame. On the night of the attack, Gudiya actually survived at first. She was taken to the hospital and had a chance to live. But Raghubir went there and killed her himself. When she understood that her father was behind the attack, she tried to call for help. To silence her, he stabbed her. He later explains this without any emotion, saying he had no choice.

Glory (2026, TV Series) ‘Netflix’ Ending Explained:

Does Dev kill Raghubir in the end?

In the final moments of Glory (2026, TV Series), Dev points a gun at his father. Raghubir begs for his life, not because he feels guilty, but because he wants to live long enough to see Ravi succeed in the Olympics. Dev is torn between justice and the consequences of his actions. The police arrive and point their guns at him. For a moment, he lowers his weapon, but then decides he cannot let his father go free. The screen goes black, and a gunshot is heard. It is unclear who gets shot.

There are several possibilities. Dev may have killed Raghubir and will now face prison. Or the police may have shot Dev before he could act. The show does not confirm what happened. Looking ahead, if Dev survives, he may end up in jail. The police may not follow proper law and could hand him over to the gangster Kookie Yadav, who has personal issues with him. Dev might try to make a deal by revealing Bharti’s role in the crimes. Another important question is whether Dev will tell Ravi the truth. Ravi still trusts Bharti and does not know what really happened. If he learns the truth, he may give up his Olympic dream. Dev might not want that. But if he stays silent, Bharti could turn Ravi against him.

Will ‘Glory’ return for season 2?

There are many loose ends. Bharti is still powerful and will try to protect her network. There is little evidence against Raghubir now, and even Bharti’s involvement is hard to prove. Nishi could be a key witness, but her life is at risk. Dev’s partner Joyna might try to expose the truth through the media, but that would be dangerous. The season ends on a dark and uncertain note. The cycle of violence and trauma continues, and the brothers are left to deal with the consequences. Whether they can break free from it or not is something the story of Glory (2026, TV Series) leaves open for a possible season 2.
