How to watch Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar?: To make your Holi week more colorful, Luv Ranjan has developed his new romantic comedy titled “Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar.” The forty-year-old director has made quite a name for himself over the past decade in the romantic-comedy genre. His debut film “Pyaar Ka Punchnama” (2011) made Karthik Aryan an overnight star that propelled the actor into a very successful Bollywood career. Ranjan subsequently directed the sequel of “Pyaar Ka Punchnama” and “Sonu ke Titu ki Sweety” with Karthik Aryan and tasted major box office success. Along with directing, he has also produced movies like “De De Pyaar De,” “Malang,” “Vadh,” and “Kuttey” under his Luv Films banner.
“Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar” marks Ranjan’s return to direction after five years. The director clearly has a thing for quirky titles for the movies he directs, and the latest one is no exception. Instead of Karthik Aryan, this one has Ranbir Kapoor playing the lead. Considering Kapoor has delivered the biggest Bollywood blockbuster of the year 2022, i.e., Ayan Mukerji’s “Brahmāstra: Part One – Shiva,” Ranjan has every chance of striking box office gold, which is a very familiar thing for him.
The movie tells the story of a young guy named Mickey, who severely works as a break-up consultant along with his best friend, Manu. The duo travel to Spain for Manu’s bachelor party, where they are joined by Manu’s fiancee Kinchi and her friend Tinni. Mickey and Tinni hook up and eventually fall for each other, leading to their respective families planning a wedding. All is fine until Tinni gets cold feet, and to know what happens next, you must catch the film.
Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar Cast:
Ranbir Kapoor stars as Mickey, and Shraddha Kapoor stars as Tinni, the female lead. This is the first time these two actors are working together, and their crackling chemistry has already become the talk of the town.
Along with the two Kapoors, popular comedian Anubhav Singh Bassi plays Mickey’s best friend, Manu, with Manica Chowdhury starring opposite him as Kinchi. Dimple Kapadia and Boney Kapoor play Mickey’s parents, while Rajesh Jais and Ayesha Raza Mishra play Tinni’s parents. Completing the cast is Hasleen Kaur, along with Karthik Aryan and Nushrat Bharucha in cameo roles.
