Netflix has announced the streaming premiere of their upcoming high school comedy Incoming, directed by John and Dave Chernin, and released first look images.

What is the movie ‘Incoming’ about?

Four freshmen face the greatest challenge of their young lives: their first high school party. The Chernins, known for their work on It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia and creators of The Mick, chose Incoming as their debut feature film for a straightforward reason. “We weren’t getting any younger,” John says, laughing. “With each passing day, we were drifting further from our own high school days. So, we decided to write this one and see what happens.”

The pair also felt a sense of duty to the teenagers of America. “This type of movie hasn’t come along in a while,” Dave notes. “It seems like every generation has one of these—something light-hearted and silly that prioritizes laughter above all else. It’s exactly the kind of film we wanted to see, more than anything.”

What is the Netflix streaming release date for ‘Incoming’?

The streamer has set a Netflix premiere date for Incoming for August 23rd, 2024.
