Makoto Shinkai Film Festival: Makoto Shinkai’s latest release ‘Suzume’ became a box-office sensation in India. It shattered the previous records for anime releases in the country and had a gross Collection of ₹6.95 crore within 10 Days of its release. 

Suzume no Tojimari was released in Indian Cinemas in a Hindi-dubbed version as well as a Japanese-language version with English subtitles. Just like Shinkai’s previous theatrical releases – Your Name or Weathering with You, his fans showered it with their love.
