This leaves her with a difficult decision: keep her child and put the infant in danger or give her up.

Fast forward 12 years, and the Mother is forced back into her daughter Zoe’s life to finally get rid of her past enemies once and for all. Zoe is played by young actress Lucy Paez, who brings a great dynamic to the film as the Mother’s whiny but endearing daughter.

The film showcases the dilemma of a mother who has to choose between her life with her daughter and her safety. Also interesting to witness is the growth of the new relationship between the mother and Zoe. How it starts rocky, but love finally conquers. Moreover, critics and the general public have praised Jennifer Lopez for her amazing performance. Action scenes are a delight to watch. And so is contemplative dive into motherhood and all that it comes with. Films these days are breaking the boundaries of genres, and we are all for it. It makes up for the whole cinema experience.

The film has a 44% rating on Rotten Tomatoes and is loved by the audience. Jennifer Lopez and all the other cast members who make a significant impact shine in this action-filled flick.
