‘Squared Love Everlasting’ (Original Title: Milosc do kwadratu bez granic) is the new rom-com addition to Netflix’s catalog. Starring Adrianna Chlebicka and Mateusz Banasiuk in the lead roles, this breezy, highhearted Polish film marks the third work in the ‘Squared Love’ series. It follows Monika and Enzo, who face trivial challenges in their lives. What is ‘Squared Love Everlasting’ about?
‘Squared Love Everlasting’ (Milosc do kwadratu bez granic) is primarily about Monika (Adrianna Chlebicka) and Enzo’s (Mateusz Banasiuk) relationship that faces a threat because of a bombshell revelation. Enzo appears to be a hopeless romantic, trying to cheer his beau and make her happy to the best of his ability. He is so much in love that he thinks of many creative ways to ask for her hand in marriage. But his ‘special moment’ gets ruined by some sort of interruption. He even brings a band to make it grand and beautiful. At the time, Monika was at a school function.
The principal (Tomasz Karolak) was about to step down from his position. Then, he announces that Ms. Grabarczyk, i.e., Monika, is their new principal. Two female teachers celebrate this appointment. They almost see it as their personal victory. The principal notices that and takes it personally. But he didn’t speak about it at the time. He asks Monika to address the crowd. In the middle of her speech, she feels restless. So, she rushes to the bathroom. Enzo wonders whether it means she is pregnant. Back home, Monika shows her positive pregnancy result. So, he instantly takes out the ring and proposes to her.
Monika’s Pregnancy
Enzo plans to get married in a church. His brother Andrzej reminds him that he needs baptism. So, Enzo decides to ask Father Wiktor for help, who is also their uncle. Back in school, the teachers get happy seeing Monika as their new leader. One teacher asks her about an update to the e-gradebook. Another teacher asks her for changes in their lessons. Even though Monika does not know all the details, she starts off on a confident note. Later, she joins her dad, Bazyli (Miroslaw Baka), shopping with his partner, Aleksandra (Monika Krzywkowska). Aleksandra tells how her son Damian is planning to go to Chicago. Suddenly, it dawns upon Monika that her life will be limited to being a mother.
Enzo’s Past Affairs
Enzo keeps working as a streamer and earning cash. Despite Bazyli’s attempts to build a strong bond with Aleksandra’s son, he does not let the old man be a part of his life. He even tells Bazyli that he will sell the house and take his mother with him to the US. Later at night, Monika learns that her diagnosis is a false positive. She takes this news positively and starts planning for the wedding. Meanwhile, Enzo meets Father Wiktor with Andrzej to make arrangements for his wedding. The Father asks him to work on an unfinished business from his past – about a woman named Ewa. He expects Enzo to get rid of his past sins before introducing additional happiness and pleasure into his life.
Ewa’s Relationship
Turns out, Enzo had several affairs in his past to the point he doesn’t even remember the names of his ex-girlfriends or how many he dated! Once he lists them down, Bazyli offers his car keys to look for this woman. His sister joins him on the journey. After meeting one Ewa after the other, he finally meets one who is married with a child. He steps down to have a word with her. Instead, she invites herself into his car and into his life. He ends up taking her and her son – Antek, to a hotel for the night’s stay. She makes a shocking revelation – Antek is also his son. Despite that, she claims that he does not need to feel obligated. In the later journey, Ewa keeps acting recklessly and turns Enzo’s life into chaos.
Monica’s Job
Back at school, the former principal returns to audit the school. As the superintendent, he expects Monika to fire two old female teachers as retribution for her failure to cope with the new ways of teaching. Monika suddenly needs to take care of this conflict. At the same time, she decides to be a substitute for a teacher who is absent. While the superintendent keeps introducing problems in her life, Ewa intrudes into her relationship and invades their privacy. It almost feels like she is trying to break their relationship and get back together with Monika. But she does not act on it and chooses to ignore it instead.
Bazyli’s colleague warns her that Ewa might be trying to break her marriage. He also offers a private investigator’s contact to find details on her. Meanwhile, Enzo brings Ewa and Antek to meet Father Wiktor at the church. He feels happy that Enzo has taken the matter seriously. Back home, Antek interrupts Enzo’s livestream. To his surprise, this interruption increases the number of views on his video. So, he and Ewa plan to keep using the kid for advantage. Monika tries to make him see how wrong it is. But he does not understand.
Aleksandra meets Bazyli at his garage. She feels he has lately been distant from her. He reveals that he does not want to come in between her and her son. She tries to make him see that it won’t happen. But he does not wish to be a nuisance. At school, the old female teachers end up lighting a fire by mistake. But it comes to the superintendent’s attention. They do not want Monika to feel the brunt of their bad judgments. So, they offer their resignation. With a heavy heart, she agrees to terminate their contracts.
The Conflicts
Meanwhile, Enzo’s professional life takes a swift turn. He gets a new lucrative deal because of Antek’s entry into his life. Suddenly, Ewa leaves Enzo and Monika to take care of her son. Later, Ewa joins the couple’s meeting at a local restaurant. The owner even confuses her of being Enzo’s partner and Monika being their maid of honor. Monika starts getting increasingly upset. She meets Bazyli’s colleague for details about Ewa from a private investigator. She gets the evidence but does not open it right away. On the other hand, Aleksandra tries to end the problems between her, Bazyli, and Damian. She also relieves Bazyli of stress that he is not letting her lead a happy life.

Ewa’s Secret
Monika finally opens the evidence envelope to learn that Ewa is in a lot of debt. She confronts Ewa about it. While Enzo takes Ewa’s side, Ewa accepts her guilt. She reveals her secret – she came to Warsaw to run away from her creditors. That’s why she hoped to get back with Enzo as a solution. Besides, she does not even know if Antek is Enzo’s son. Ewa agrees to pack her bags and leave immediately. But Enzo feels bad that his fiancée hired a PI to investigate Ewa’s past. He feels terrible even though it’s the truth. All Monika did was not let this woman ruin her wedding. But Enzo is fixated on having children and starting a family.
Because of their personal differences, Monika plans to break off their marriage. Enzo, aka the man-child, only thinks for himself and not about what his bride wants. Back at her school, Monika takes back her decision to fire the two female teachers. She also steps down from her position as a principal. Enzo’s manager offers him a new plan to return to the top. But Enzo says he is happy with what he has got. Monika decides to help Ewa with her financial woes for Enzo’s sake.
At the end of ‘Squared Love Everlasting,’ Monika and Enzo’s family members bring them to the church. It was their way to make the couple work out their differences and get married. The couple discusses how they want they want to lead their lives. Enzo wants to have a family, but he also accepts that he will keep loving her. While it almost looks like they won’t get married, they return to the church, smiling.
Eventually, Monika and Enzo get married and get a positive ending to their relationship for the time being. Predictable, cheesy, and filled with cliches, the film marks another forgettable project on the streaming giant.
