Every Song Featured in the Aftersun Soundtrack

Aftersun Soundtrack: Every Song Featured in the movie – Dubbed as one of the best films of 2022, Aftersun is an emotion. The debut feature film by writer-director Charlotte Wells explores the raw emotion between a daughter and a father. Premiering at Cannes Festival, the film won a jury award along with great reviews. Then the film went on to be showcased at multiple film festivals in countries across the world which only added to all the praise both actors and the director were showered on.

The film follows a father-daughter duo taking a holiday to celebrate the father’s 31st birthday in Turkey. Based in the early 2000s, the film is a peek into the girl’s memories of her relationship with her father. She reminisces about the time when they went to Turkey for his birthday. While collecting memories for their future, both come to understand each other better. This film is a very emotional film that doesn’t have many dialogues, but the emotions are portrayed by powerful performances by the actors. A unique but still very raw relationship between a 31-year-old, very young father and his 11-year-old, more mature than her age daughter.
