Murder Mystery 2

Murder Mystery 2 Soundtrack: Every Song Featured in the Netflix movie – In India, they say, “Well, what’s a wedding without some drama” and nothing creates more drama than a murder mystery. Well, that’s all the latest Netflix film starring Adam Sandler, and Jennifer Aniston is about. A big fat Indian wedding and a murder mystery. A sequel to the 2019 film Murder Mystery, which was a fun ride, this film also promises the same mystery laced with comedy.

Directed by Jeremy Garelick and written by James Vanderbilt, the film picks up four years after the first film. Nick and Audrey are now private detectives, but their career choice turns out to be a failure. To their surprise, they get invited to the wedding of their friend, Vikram ‘The Maharajah’ Govindan, on his private island. On arrival, they get awestruck by the beauty and luxury of the wedding. And then, in the swarm of great food, Bollywood numbers, and meeting a huge crowd, Vik ‘The Maharajah’ gets kidnapped by some mysterious figures, and the hell gets loose.

With everyone present at the wedding converted into suspects (including the to-be bride Claudette, business partner Francisco, ex-fiance Countess Sekou, her lady-in-waiting Amani, his sister Saira and an old friend Colonel Ulenga), the Spitzs start their investigation. They are joined by former MI6 agent Conner Miller, who doesn’t likes the Spitzs very much. And hence starts a journey across continents which result in a hell of a ride.

Indian Weddings is all about music, and this film captures it perfectly. With popular Bollywood numbers like “Chamma Chamma,” “Husnn Hai Suhaana,” “Khadke Glassy,” and “Ghungroo,” which you can witness playing at Desi weddings, the film succeeds in capturing the essence of an Indian wedding. We can also hear some French influences as the second half of the film moves to the city of love, Paris.

The Original Soundtrack of the film is composed by Rupert Gegson-Williams, known for multiple Netflix projects like The Crown, Fatherhood, and Back to the Outback, along with movies like Aquaman, Wonder Woman, Abominable, etc.
