The Seven Deadly Sins: Grudge of Edinburgh Part 2 (2023) Plot Summary & Movie Synopsis:
The movie begins with the revelation of the fairy boy being none other than Lancelot. Lancelot questions Tristen why he is not letting himself achieve his full potential. Just then, Lord Deathpierce unleashes his army of empties to attack Tristen and Lancelot. Tristen and Lancelot take on this army but soon realize they are in huge numbers. Tristen charges ahead with his horse, only to be overwhelmed.
Lancelot takes the fairy form and carries the horse and Tristen as much as he can in the air. Nevertheless, someone in a steel uniform builds an ice bridge leading them to Lord Deathpierce. Deathpierce commends them on their power but tells them they would die here. He tells them that the non-humans must rule the world and explains that the people he cared for died. Hence, he is seeking revenge on Meliodas and Elizabeth, which angers Tristen.
Tristen attacks him but to no avail, as Deathpierce is powerful. Lancelot figures out that his weakness is close-range attacks and strikes Deathpierce. Deathpierce is shocked as Lancelot figures this out in minutes. Lancelot asks Tristen to fight Priest as he was the one who had put a curse on his mother. They each fight with all their might. Tristen is starting to transform into his demon self but controls himself, angering Lancelot. After facing Lancelot’s anger, Tristen lets himself go and attacks the Priest.
They felt the armies of the empty Meliodas would destroy them, and the seven deadly sins came to the rescue. Deathpierce and the Priest start to worry seeing the seven deadly sin’s power. Elizabeth recovers as Tristen attacks the Priest. Deathpierce escapes between a magical spell, and Tristen and Lancelot follow him inside. The seven deadly sins come looking for Tristen, and the horse reveals where he had gone. They also realize Lancelot is with them.
The Priest takes the opportunity and tries to curse Elizabeth again, but Elizabeth blocks the curse and tells the Priest that he had put the curse the first time when she was asleep, catching her off guard, but now she was awake, and he couldn’t harm her. She attacks him and destroys him into pieces. Elizabeth also tells Meliodas that Tristen had saved her life by lifting the curse. Tristen and Lancelot enter a different space along with Deathpierce. Deathpierce is angry as he is being lectured.
Tristen explains to him that his actions are unfair, and he attacks them. Deathpierce becomes a giant monster-like creature with a flaming blue sword and attacks them both. Lancelot tells Tristen that he has to unleash his full potential now, as it is a life-and-death situation.

Elizabeth could sense Tristen was in danger. Meliodas comforts her by saying that he knew Tristen would be fine, especially alongside Lancelot. Elizabeth tells Meliodas that he was afraid to take on the demon form, and Meliodas tells her he always knew that, especially since his 10th birthday when he had hurt Lancelot. He promises Elizabeth that if Tristen ever loses control, he will stop him, but Gowther tells them that Tristen needs someone he trusts, just like Meliodas has the Seven Deadly Sins, and that someone to Tristen was Lancelot.
Lancelot and Tristen continue to fight, and Deathpierce attacks Lancelot with fire, and he is down. Tristen taps into his demon energy and attacks Deathpierce, but the attacks hit the humans, and Tristen returns. Lancelot appears again, shocking Tristen that he is alive. Lancelot tells him that he could not sense any human energy in those humans as they were empty and made to take human form. He tells Tristen to see that Deathpierce is enjoying the human screams.

What is the Significance of Lancelot and Tristen’s Dynamic?
Lancelot tells him that when they were ten years old, he was angry with Tristen as he assumed he could not defend himself. He reminds him that despite his attack, he wanted to continue the fight, but he had said he didn’t want to hurt him, and all the elders had taken them away. Tristen tells him that he had never meant anything like that. Lancelot asks him not to worry about him and fight Deathpierce with all his might. Tristen taps into his demon energy and starts to attack Deathpierce. Deathpierce is down.
Tristen and Lancelot have an unspoken challenge, and they fight. Lancelot finally helps Tristen get out of his demon energy.
