3 Reasons Why Ewoks Make a Great Pet

There is no denying that Ewoks are incredibly cute to look at. Appearing through the Star Wars series, these small, furry, mammaloid bipeds have a look about them that makes you want to pick them up and cuddle them all day long. However, other than being extremely cute – why do Ewoks make such good pets?

You’ll Feel Safe When One Shares Your Home

These adorable looking creatures might look cute and fluffy, but you do have to keep in mind that they played a key part in bringing down the Empire. They have a range of weapons and clearly have the ability to use them. You might think that a dog makes a good security deterrent but they’re nothing compared to an Ewok that would have no issue with charging at intruders with giant spears.

There is something really comforting in knowing that you share your home with a pet that could protect you at all costs, so if this is something you’re keen on, a cuddly Ewok could be right up your street. Furthermore, according to an interview carried out by Betway casino with Star Wars expert Matt Hudson last month he said that Endor is the perfect place for Ewoks and that “there’s nothing of any real value there for the bad guys to come and try to take over the planet. There’s nothing there apart from trees and Ewoks, so I think it’s a safe place to live.”

They Don’t Take Up Too Much Room

Depending on the size of your home, you may have considered a pet but worried about how much space they’ll take up. Getting a pet dog when you live in a 2nd storey apartment might not be the best choice, for example. With an Ewok, you don’t have that same worry. They’re only around 3ft tall so don’t take up too much space at all. You can take them on your day-to-day errands with you, so even if you don’t have a garden, an Ewok can make the perfect pet addition to any family.

They’re Loving

They might be strong and fearless but they’re also really loving too! In the Star Wars series, we have seen them fall victim to other predators which means they have kept their vulnerable side. They will certainly be looking for a safe environment to live in. Once they have found this within your home and they feel comfortable, you can be sure they’ll be happy to spend some time cuddled up to you on the sofa. Who doesn’t want to end the day cuddled up to a furry bundle of joy?

Having an Ewok as a pet is a good idea for so many reasons, however if you’re looking for a loving pet that also protects the home and doesn’t need a tonne of space to be happy then they really do tick all the boxes. This is on top of the fact that they are extremely adorable. If a 3ft furry pet running around your home isn’t cute enough as a prospect, then you can also dress them up in a range of outfits. You might be able to find some kids clothes that fit them; otherwise getting your sewing machine out to create them some clothes shouldn’t be too much of a chore. Maybe you could even go the extra mile and make yourselves some matching outfits?
