After releasing a scintillating teaser that went viral last month, YRF studios have just dropped the full-length trailer for Siddharth Anand’s ‘War’ online. This highly anticipated actioner is brining together two action stars together. Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff will be playing frenemies in WAR.
The trailer for War features Hrithik Roshan playing senior officer Kabir. After going rogue, Khalid (Tiger) is assigned to nail him down before he goes on a killing spree. The highly anticipated collaboration brings an interesting pairing on the screen. However, like many other films, the film pushes Vani Kapoor who also co-stars in the backdrop.

The trailer also features veteran actor Ashutosh Rana who shows up for a decision making turn. From the looks of it, it seems like another mainstream action film like Bang Bang that basically uses its star power to defuse dumb thriller aesthetics. The War trailer also suggests that the duo has been teacher and student in the past and their values have changed through time. It would be interesting to see that psychological dynamic but it would be too much to ask for in a thriller that obviously focuses grandness over anything else.
Vani Kapoor seems to be skidding along and her fix into the entire canvas doesn’t look plausible. It would be interesting to see if there’s any depth provided to this suggestively straight forward back and forth between its muscle stars.
