After the several obstacles from certain creative differences to the issues with the CBFC, the much-awaited Judgemental Hai Kya Trailer had finally arrived.

The film features powerhouse performers like Kangana Ranaut and Rajkumar Rao in the lead roles. It’s a murder mystery filled with the comic elements and from the trailer, it looks like an absolutely madcap ride.

The previous title Mental Hai Kya went under a last-minute change and got retitled because of the controversy related to the depiction of mental health.

The Mumbai Mirror quoted a source as saying, “Given the sensitivity attached to the issue of mental health and the fact that our intention is not to offend or hurt anyone’s sentiments, the makers have decided to change the title to Judgemental Hai Kya.”

Judgemental Hai Kya revolves around two individuals named Bobby (played by Kangana Ranaut) and Keshav (played by Rajkumar Rao). The trailer gives a sneak peek into their personalities where Bobby is seen as an unstable yet strangely eccentric; while Keshav is a smooth-talker who appears normal by just the outward appearance.

Both possess the feelings of being misfits in their own worlds. All hell breaks loose when a murder occurs where both of them are considered as suspects. They have to face each other in order to get out of it. The film clearly looks like a play between reality and deception/hallucinations, from the trailer.

With this Kangana and Rajkumar will be once again seen together after their fabulous chemistry from the critically-acclaimed 2013-film, Queen. The quirkiness from this new trailer adds another layer to their romance.

The story is written by Kanika Dhillon who has previously worked for films like Manmarziyan and Kedarnath. The film is directed by Prakash Kovelamudi and produced by Ekta Kapoor, Shobha Kapoor, and Shailesh R Singh.
